Re: Translating from M Series Auto Bipap to AirCurve 10 VAuto
Thanks so much for the quick response, and for the gut check! I really appreciate it. I was able to get into the clinical setup menu, yes -- will check out the clinical manual as well. I ended up calling in this morning to get a few hours' nap -- with the resmed set to auto 25/10/4 it worked pretty ...

Translating from M Series Auto Bipap to AirCurve 10 VAuto
Hi all -- long time lurker and (almost) first time poster. After a lengthy fight with bureaucracy, I have just gotten a ResMed AirCurve 10 VAuto to replace my aged (9 years, 23000+ hours) Respironics M Series Auto Bipap. It seems like the AirCurve is a good machine, and I'm really looking forward to...

Re: Colonoscopy & BiPap
I too was required to have my colonoscopy in a hospital instead of in a clinic setting. I've always had a BiPAP (never CPAP), so I can't say if it would have been different with the different machine. The explanation I was given is that the "twilight sedation" used in a clinic setting is administere...

Re: Emergency CPAP supplies -- suggestions? (SF bay area)
An update, if anyone is interested -- I made it to Monday without an issue, and tried hard to find a humidifier chamber locally -- tried about six different DMEs, and none had the part in stock. So I will be doing without for another night. Placed an order for a new chamber from cpap.com; they had t...

Re: Emergency CPAP supplies -- suggestions? (SF bay area)
Thanks for all the replies, folks. Turns out the hose fits onto the inlet for the humidifier tank /inside/ the humidifier compartment. But I think the machine must make some sort of compensation for the water tank -- the exhalation pressure is way too high. I went into the settings and dialed it as ...

Emergency CPAP supplies -- suggestions? (SF bay area)
I've just set out on a cross-country trip, and realized just now that I left the humidifier chamber for my Respironics M series at home -- I apparently forgot to replace it after emptying it out this morning. As folks undoubtedly know, you can't attach a hose directly to the M without an adapter tha...
