Re: Nasal Mask Issues
Been there, done that. As the other poster said keep trying different masks. It takes time, but don't give up. I'm a relatively new CPAP user. When I started (about 3 months ago), I was fitted (sort of) with a full face mask. After 3 frustrating months of taking the mask off in the middle of the nig...

Re: How does your boss treat you concerning CPAP?
I am by no means a skinny or slim person. In fact I am overweight and I am the first to admit it but I really don't find it fair for others to judge someone diagnosed with sleep apnea and say that you wouldn't have that problem if you would lose weight. Well, that is what my boss has told me, on se...

Re: Newbie Question: Does mask type affect pressure need?
My mouth mask w/ nasal pillows worked great too, but after 3-4 days it just leaked like crazy. I kept waking up from the shhhhhhhhhhh noise. I tried everything to correct it with no avail (head straps, different size pillows, medical tape, duct tape , etc. You're right- different strokes for differe...

Re: Newbie Question: Does mask type affect pressure need?
I apologize if this has been asked before. On Wednesday afternoon (8/11) the DME is coming to my house and setting me up with my BiPAP, mask, & etc. I am both looking forward to this and apprehensive as that means tomorrow I start my lifelong membership in the hose-head brigade and I will start my ...

Re: Nasal Pillows
I cannot get these pillows to seat. I've went from small to large and they leak when I sleep. Any ideas? I wake up in the middle of the night from the noise of the leaking air. The pillows/nostrils do not leave my nostrils, but air leaks from my nose area.

Re: The Flu and Cpap - No Joke!
I never thought about the CPAP and the flu. That would suck. When the time comes for me,I doubt I'll use the CPAP. When I get the real flu, my whole body aches- even my hair
