Does anyone else who owns the S9 auto, hear any wort of whistle noise on exhaling? It seems to be right near the end of the exhale. And it only seems to happen at my starting pressure of 10. And goes away once the pressure climbs.

So I finally got my Rescan to work after buying an sd card reader, it finally read the sd card and I loaded my data onto the program. So now you mouse over the events in the summary graph, and it tells you how many events you had in that given night. My question is how do you know what those events ...

Even when I went and made a new patient from scratch, it gave me no option to choose or add a flow generator or choose a machine. I'm wondering if I should go out and buy a sd card reader for the usb port and see if that works.

thanks for the answers. I think the only proof I have that my machine is working is the fact that when I look at the results the next morning it gives me an average pressure from the whole night. I try testing my apaps self adjusting technology by holding my breath or simulating snoring etc... and the on screen number doesn't climb. Does anyone else's number change before your eyes when you try this?

Boston Guy, you don't need to know the vent rate for your mask with the ResMed S9 machines. That's telling you how much air escaping in excess of what should be venting out of the exhaust port on the mask. My machine (S8 Autoset II) measure in L/sec. 7.2 l/min / 60 = 0.12 l/sec That doesn't sound too bad, but you will have to see what the vent rate is for your particular mask at the press...

Yea I am calling my insurance Monday to find other dme providers. I hope there's a place out there that is run by some professionals possibly. Maybe some people that actually know about the products their selling. Someone that knows more than I do, that would be amazing!!
