Re: Drying CPAP Hose

I am wondering how people get their tubing free of all the water that collects in there. I am also curious about masks too, I am new to this and am encouraged to use it but want to know more about what and how people do regarding this process. Like the others that have resonded, I hang mine over a ...

Re: Is It Me Or Were My Expectations Just Too High?

I am new to the CPAP world as well. Got my machine on July 8th. Some days are better than others. I'm still trying to get comfortable sleeping with a mask. While I haven't had the energy surge I will say that I feel more focused at work, and don't have the desire to take a nap everytime I sit down a...

Humidifier Water

Still debating on the use of a humidifier, but if I do is it necessary to use the distilled water the mfg. recommends? I do live in a hard water area, but since I have a salt water aquarium I have a RO/DI system for water changes. I would assume RO/DI water would work as well as distilled since most...

Re: Does anyone have annual sleep studies?

Not sure about Medicare, but I've heard that some insurance companies may require a study be done every 3-5 years.

On average, how often can you get new or different equipment? I know this may depend on insurance but I'm wondering what happens if I can't get along with say the mask and want to go to another type? Sorry, it varies from insurance company to insurance company and each insurance company has many ty...

Re: How do I unjoin this site?

There was no chip. I came here because I was upset about an unpleasant experience on the way here and concerned it might happen again on the way home. I was trying to figure out how it happened via google and pulled up something from this site, so I joined to learn more. I got a few rude responses ...

WOW! Thanks for the information everyone. I knew this is a great forum. A question I already have: On average, how often can you get new or different equipment? I know this may depend on insurance but I'm wondering what happens if I can't get along with say the mask and want to go to another type? T...

I'm a newbie from Oklahoma. I have been through all the tests and I am getting my equipment on Thursday. I am ready for this and actually looking forward to it. When I did the test with the CPAP, I wasn't sure that I slept that much better, but then I was amazed how much better I felt as the day wen...
