Good Luck and Godspeed. I am looking to get a back up APAP, and was only looking as RESMED, because as a 100% MAC home and work, the resmed was the only one I could get my stats from. I would love to have some cheaper options.

Welcome. You have come the right place. I have been hose addicted for 8 month now, and it has changed my life. Hang in there, it is a lot to get used to. As for feeling sexy in my mask, ok I don't either, but not snoring my wife awake and tossing and turning has made me look a lot sexier to her when...

I started with the SWIFT Nasal pillows and took to them right away. I am a side sleeper and not a mouth breather. The only problem I have is when congested it can be a bit of a drag, so I am now trying to find a good full face masks as a back up.

Good luck.

I just spoke to a representative from Teleflex medical (makers or distributors of HYBRID) and he said their is a new "shell" in the works with a reduced exhaust flow, it should be available in January. He is also send out a beefed up headgear. He agreed with many of you, that, in his opinion LEAK Ra...

I have a MAC and the instruction video was WMV so I couldn't get it to play. I solved that at work. Last night I got a leak free and solid fit that stayed on all night. My numbers looked good and I got a restful nights sleep. The only thing was that my Resmed APAP still told me I had extreme leaks. ...

[quote="Maryb"]I use the hybrid with ResMed's S8 Vantage. 1) headgear--yes it's bad. I'm waiting for the new version. Meanwhile I've strengthened the velcro on the top, covered it all with PAC's and added an extra pantyhose strap to stabilize everything as well as rubber bands to angle the nasal pil...

Yes I agree, until they know one way or the other at CPAP.COM, they can't be expected to know. I have calls out to both Resmed and Hudson RCI (makers of Hybrid) to try and sort it. If I can't make it work, then I like so many have discovered how expensive the search for a mask can be. ______________...

Re: Hybrid and ResMed

[quote="GoofyUT"]Josh- Others have reported success using the Hybrid with the Fisher& Paykel HC 431 headgear. Try corresponding with Tooly125 about this. Many have complained about the Hybrid's headgear, and I'm told that the manufacturer is working on releasing an upgraded headgear for that mask, s...
