Re: Resmed S9 with Xpod and Oximeter for sale
The AveoTSD device does work but its not perfect. It works for me. The suction is not that bad and if you search the internet you'll find some utube videos of how to wear it where you place your lips over the outer flanges of the device. If you do that it does not pop out at night. The biggest probl...

Re: S9 SpO2 module - can anyone ask their rep what one ?
The main problem is the the ResMed S9 Oximeter Adapter has a connector that is unlike anyone has ever seen before and Nonin does not sell their Xpod Oximeter with a compatible interface to the Resmed Adapter. You have to take apart the ResMed S9 Oximeter Adapter and replace its connector to one that...

Re: Quattro FX -- Please post feedback on it
Just got my Quattro FX yesterday and had a good night with the new mask. My previous mask was a medium Quattro Full Face (FF) and the FX in medium was perfect for me. Here are some observations: • Woke up with little or no redness on the bridge of nose. With the FF I always had red marks on nose. • ...

Re: 1st Time User...awful night
Have you considered a nasal mask? I've tried all types of masks and settled with a Nasal Mask from Resmed. You should look into one. They work best with slight to major movement at night... in my opinion. Nasal Pillows: Had too many issues keeping the seal and the slightest movement would cause a le...

Re: Dental fixture to treat apnea--have you heard about it?
When I started sleep apnea treatment I couldn't use cpap so I got a dental appliance. I used a Thornton Adjustable Positioner (TAP®) oral appliance for about six months at first to treat my moderate sleep apnea. It might work for you but everyone is different. The dental appliances DON'T totally fix...

Re: S9 SpO2 module - can anyone ask their rep what one ?
I got it to work. It's a bit messy but it works. I purchased the following items: - Resmed Oximeter Adapter (purchased from SleepQuest in San Carlos, CA 650-412-0123) - $275 - Nonin OEM Xpod kit w/3012 Xpod, 8000AA sensor and data format 2 ( http://www.nonin.com/documents/OEM%20Development%20Kit%20O...

Occasional sleepiness when using TAP device
I’ve was diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea with 22 hypopnea events per hour. I tried CPAP but could not fall asleep with the device. I’ve since been fitted with a TAP (Thornton Adjustable Positioner) device and that has gotten my hypopnea events down to 5 or less per hour. I do feel better but I’m...
