Re: Night 2 on the Swift LT.
Quick warning: the replacement time on pillows for the LT are suggested to be 2 weeks. I find that they lose their seal for me after about 10 days, so I replace them a little more often on my own dime for the difference. Washing them daily or every 2 or 3 days helps, but the pillows actually get a ...

Re: How often do you replace nasal pillows on your mask?
Swift LT...my nasal pillow is on it's third year. Soak in straight vinegar once a week to clean/disinfect. I've had no problems.

Re: Resmed Swift LT for her nasal pillows, last how long?
My pillow (for men) is on its 13th month...with zero problems. I wear it 6-8 hours a night and wash/soak it in vinegar weekly. And that's it. I'm still using my original equipment that I first received with my machine. I have spares, but everything is still functioning properly, so I see no reason t...

Re: Pillows should last 18 months according to the sleep clinic
My Swift LT pillow is on its 12th month. Looking no worse for wear. My guess, they'll last as long as you take proper care of them...it's not like they're a moving part or something subject to wear. With the exception of filters, I'm still using all of my original equipment.

Re: New user, can't sleep with the machine sound - help
My machine fits perfectly in the top drawer of my nightstand. I simply close the drawer as much as possible, leaving just enough room for the hose, and I barely hear the machine. The air leaving through the vent holes in the mask make much more noise than the machine ever did. But don't worry, you'l...

Re: Frustration with APAP, keep taking off mask at night!
I had the same problem...but it only lasted for about two weeks, and I only removed my mask (Swift LT nasal pillow) about three times a week. Now, I don't even feel the mask. Keep with it, it does get better...if you're wearing the right mask/pillow and, if need be, the right chin strap/tape.

Re: Neck strap users please talk about it.
I use a chin strap with my Swift LT, and love it. A full-face mask never worked for me...beard and leaks around my nose...and I found myself never being able to sleep on my side. Try a chin strip for a week or so, and see how things go. I think that you'll find a nasal pillow may be what you're look...

Re: First Air Travel with CPAP
Just did this last week...see my post on NOT yawning once during a full week of all day classes... They will swap (checking for explosives) and re-scan you cpap after it's already gone through the x-ray machine once. They will not check you reservoir or any of your tubes/masks. It will add about 2-3...

One week of all day classes...not a single yawn
And not because the class was interesting. I've been to several of these over the years, but this was my first one after starting treatment with CPAP. I can honestly say, that over the five-day span, I never yawned. It was amazing how much of a difference a good night's sleep actually made with rega...

A simple a short success story: I slept through the night for the first time last night. Eight staight hours. It's been decades since I could make that claim.

Re: sleepy
As for being sleepy...my numbers, according to my machine, are very good, BUT, I'm fat (6', 240lbs), I sit on my butt all day, in an office pushing paper, and my only exercise is chasing my toddler around in the evening and on weekends. I'm tired because I'm out of shape. Can't blame my CPAP if I'm ...

Re: My worst night so far, but was it a bad night?
That's a nice straight leak line. Do you use a chin strap or tap? I use a PAPCap. Two reasons: 1) I mouth breathed (is breathed a word?) in the past, and I hate that dry mouth feeling, and I'm also losing therapy and 2) I'm concerned that the straps will cause bald spots by rubbing the same areas e...

Odd...here at work, on a non-widescreen monitor, half of the graph is cut off. Will have to remember to re-size images in the future.
