Lengthy Obstuctives and ResMed S9

Hi, My ResScan detailed report for last night included one Obstructive for 36 seconds. The pressure only rose to 8.82. My machine is set at Minimum Pressure 6.0 and Maximum Pressure 16.0. I had 9 obstructives in total during the night - one for 36, one for 26 and another for 21 seconds. I have a Res...

Windows 8.1 and INVALID SD CARD Message

I have recently upgraded my Windows 8 PC to 8.1 I use this PC to download the data from my S9 SD Card each day, using ResScan. The S9 is turned off at the wall socket each morning. Each evening before getting into bed I turn on the S9, and it says for a brief time "Reading SD Card". Since upgrading ...

Re: ResScan 4.20.8 and PATIENT MANAGER

Did you try editing your registry? HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ResMed/ASR/DataManager -->PatientsFolder Right Click On PatientsFolder --> Modify -->Value Data --> "Your Path" ie: This is the default --> C:\Users\Public\Documents\ResMed\ResScan3\Patients\ This may take care of your issue or you coul...

Thanks for that Nate.
Is a shortcut ICON any different to a normal shortcut dragged from the Desktop?

ResScan 4.20.8 and PATIENT MANAGER

I am using ResScan 4.20.8.5438, on a Windows 8 64-bit PC. I do not use the default location for Patient data - I use another drive and folder. Generally ResScan opens my patient file without any problem, but occasionally it forgets MY file location and looks in the default location, where of course ...

Re: Problem with ResScan 31302 (3.16 SP1)

I have been using Rescan for 2 years now. I just upgrade Rescan from 3.14.017 to 3.16.018. All seems OK in that it automatically starts when the SD card is inserted in the PC and downloads the data as before. One "problem" is that if an SD card is not inserted I cannot "open patient file". I could d...

Re: Runny nose and bit of blood

Thanks for the suggestion "So Well"- actually was worse when I turned down humidity . Could be that I've just irritated the lining of my nose with the nasal pillows. Very frustrating though.

Runny nose and bit of blood

Hi, I have been on CPAP for 4 months now. When I was trialling machines I always had trouble with the S9 on loan from my clinician. Mainly due to rainout. I now have my own S9 and it works perfectly ( isn't that weird [/i]). I use the Swift FX mask and nasal pillows- I can't handle the nose mask or ...

Hi, I thought the following links might also be useful to a newbie:- http://www.resmed.com/us/presentations/osa/osa.html?nc=patients http://www.resmed.com/us/multimedia/understanding-sdb-english-640x380.swf The second link is very interesting as it tells you what is happening to you during the night...

Re: Rainout Resmed Swift FX mask

When I set the system to AUTO I get a front panel setup from 0 - 6 I believe and no choice of temperature. Hi Murray, Do you have/use the heated ClimateLine hose? Before you attach the ClimateLine the S9 front panel allows you to set the humidity between 0 and 6. As soon as you attach the ClimateLi...

Re: Rainout Resmed Swift FX mask

ResMed recommends that you set Climate Control to AUTO in the clinician menu. I did. They also recommend very strongly against using any kind of hose covering on their climate control hose as it will prevent it from working its magic and is a fire hazard. I no longer use the hose cover. I have my h...

S9 Humidity and Temperature settings independent???

Once the ClimateLine is attached you cannot access the humidity setting, only the temperature setting? Still trying to solve my rainout problem. Yesterday all of the Resm...
