I'm not understanding the Resmed card reader advantage. I have a standard USB SD card reader (BestBuy @ Cdn$15) that takes my S9's card and connects perfectly with the Resmed software on my desktop. What does the expensive Resmed card reader do differently? Is this unique to the S8? My father-in-law...

First weeks results have averaged over 7 hours sleep with AHI at under 3. Feel guilty about how smooth its going.

Two, my mother who hasn't used her machine in 10 years and my father-in-law. Trying to convince my mother improvements have been made but at 86 she's not to interested.

I to am very new to this CPAP life. I picked up my equipment last Friday and have had a very smooth experience so far. This is because I spent about 4 or 5 hours minimum reading the various posts and clicking on the light bulb in the sites header to educate myself (over a two week period). Fortunate...

When picking up my S9 yesterday I also sprang for the Resmed stainless washable tank. I received the free jug of distilled water which I will use. The stainless tank comes apart and can go in the dishwasher (I'll hand wash). This suits my requirements as I travel a bit and don't want to have to thin...
