Re: Storing mask between usage

Hi Bugdude, I take it you don’t have dust in Australia. (Grinning).

Quietmorning; Amazing what can be done if we really think about it. That is interesting and does give me some ideas. You did a good job.

Thanks everyone.

Storing mask between usage

I don't have the best setup next to my bed. How do most of you put your mask away when not in use. I keep setting it next to the machine by my bed and cover it with a hand towel. If not covered it would get very dusty. Still does. The top of the stand is not real big and cannot put something on it t...

Re: Help to verify my BiPap is still set correct

I appreciate all the help I always get here. I have checked and everything is set right on the machine. I am, AGAIN, going to try to use it more. I am also going to put a new mask on and be sure the one I am using doesn’t leak. It is probably just me but it just didn’t seem to be as powerful as it h...

Re: Help to verify my BiPap is still set correct

Otter, I just love your picture. You are so cute. Back to business. I got your links and responses. I appreciate the help. It is late and I will look into this tomorrow. That second link is just what my machine looks like. I did read it. Reading it, makes me think that it could not have got changed....

Help to verify my BiPap is still set correct

I am not comfortable that the settings on my Bipap are still set correct. I didn't use it for a period of time. When going back to it, I really don't think it is set right. I know how to read most of the areas on the controls but not the setup numbers. I was originally set to 15/10. After my first s...

Re: O2 Desaturation, Oxygen Supplement, AHI 85 untreated, Help?

Hello again; It’s been a while. I am familiar with the pdf list that Mr Capers provided here. That list and the website itself is highly recommended. Probably the best website on ‘all about portable oxygen.’ http://www.portableoxygen.org/ I am not positive but I think you can disable that alarm from...

Re: Getting the right size mask

Thatmaskedman, Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I really do appreciate it. I have tried so hard to separate them all. It did get confusing. As soon as I read your post, I remember doing it. I never have typed total face. Got it and thanks. If you never saw a face helmet, take a look at this...

Re: Newbie - problems adjusting Help!

Sandra, I am glad you made reference to the use of the neti-pot. I used one for the first time this week. I didn't do too bad and it ran out properly. However, went to do it again yesterday and must be doing something wrong and need to re-read the papers again. I am sure I just had my head the wrong...

Re: Getting the right size mask

Thanks guest for the input. If it ever comes to trying a full face mask, I will keep an open mind. That is two people now that have liked it. Glad it is working for you. Guess it doesn't matter which one we use, as long as we get there.

Re: O2 Desaturation, Oxygen Supplement, AHI 85 untreated, Help?

I don’t yet have an established opinion on sleep studies and doctors. I guess I realize the need for the studies. I think I am starting to see the abuse by the providers of the equipment. I also spent few years buying my own oxygen until I got on medicare and now I see what they get and what I paid....

Good input. Love the frog.

Sunnyway, I will take your word for the full face masks. If I ever have the opportunity I may try one. I never would though if not for reading your posts. Seems like too much for me. Glad it work for you and thanks for sharing.

Re: Getting the right size mask

The head part is not adjustable on the EasyLife. I think the one of my husband’s that I tried had something like that. One of them here did. Do you use different styles at different times. For myself I was just thinking of the nasal pillows and then something over my nose for a break at times. You a...

Re: Getting the right size mask

TorontoCPAguy, Thanks, that was a lot of sharing. Good input. The bridge hurting for me was like pressure. I think it dug in when I lay on my side. I am watching it all. Here is the link to the Easy Life I am referring to and in the same category as the Mirage Activa you use. http://tinyurl.com/2das...
