Re: Quattro FX question
I can't tolerate any of the masks touching any part of my skin so I'm always finding ways to work around that problem. Since I started using the FX I've been using a two facial tissues folded in to in to a fourth of the size and then I line one on the top around the nose bridge and the other along t...

Cortez might be close enough
Didn't see anything in Page so I think your best bet would be Cortez. 2 hr drive to get there from Kayenta. The person from Monticello may know more since I live a lot farther north in Ut.

Went Back to EncoreViewer
Uninstalled Encore Pro 2.4 - other then calculating leaks differently I couldn't see any difference and never saw any waveform data. Really couldn't justify running SQL server on my PC just for the difference in the leak info reported. EncoreViewer provides seems to have everything except Waveform d...

I don't let the mask touch my face
I break out at the slightest reason. Lately it is because of meds and now I have to take more meds to keep from breaking out but not because of my mask anymore because I cut a new tissue liner to fit between my face and mask. Can't stand that silcone feel anyway. I layer standard facial tissues norm...

Glad to hear it that it is working for you
I was lucky since my Dr, Nurses etc. all know I have a medical background and listened to my concerns. I added 02 to my APAP just a couple of weeks after starting since I had the oximitery reports to show that my therapy was doing everything that it should. I didn't have to go back in for another st...

Re: How to BUY Encore PRO 2.4???
Couldn't get it installed on Windows 7 directly but ran a version of XP under Windows 7 and installed it for to see what the differences were between that and the Encore Viewer program that I bought. I liked the viewer program it works well enough that I haven't looked at the Pro version on XP for a...

Re: Anyone use Sinus Buster for Congestion ?
I have and use it. Mostly during the allergy season which for me is about 9 months of the year. Lets just say that when the spray hits your sinuses it gets your attention. It does work for me. I use it so that I don't get dependent on the OTC 12 hour sprays. It doesn't last as long as 12 hours - mor...

When you say Treated
When you say treated by - do you mean you've tried all of the different meds for RLS/PLMD? And different combinations of those drugs. There is a Mayo Clinic monograph for clinicians on how to approach the treatment of RLS that can recommend drug/combos that have worked. Have you had you Vitamin B, V...

Oximeter

There someone who participates here who sells them and many have purchased from him. http://www.coopermedicalsupplies.com/ I bought mine somewhere else but would buy from him if I needed a new one. Re: Periodic Breathing
I have a repironix system1 aflex and a quattro mask. My data for the last 10 days reports periodic breathing of 3.3%. Is this something to be worried about? Maybe - but it does occur in normal sleepers and quite often in newborns. If you are worried at all a recording Oximeter is a handy tool since...

Yes for the Skin
The label says Moisturizing Towelettes, with Vitamin E and Aloe Vera. I use them on my skin all of the time even on my face sometimes but with Rosacea, I can't really put much on my face which is why I have a problem with masks. They aren't in the baby aisle but are with the lotion. Usually on the b...

Re: Hybrid mask - nasal and lip abrasions
Sorry to hear about the problem, it is always distressing when you have a child in pain. I just posted about some Anti-bacterial wipes that I dry out and use for my mask liners - just cut to fit, they may help. Since they are basically disaposable $1.50 or so from Walmart, their store brand you can ...

Any One Use These
Having a bit of OCD - I go through Anti-bacterial wipes pretty quickly. I know folks have a love hate relationship with this store but at W I've been buying the Equate Anti-Bacterial Wipes for a number of years. Got on APAP back in May and because of my super sensitive skin, I had to find a mask lin...
