Re: nasal pillows - pros and cons?
Which part of Aust are you located at? I have been through a few pillows and have 2 favorites at the moment... - Resmed Swift LT - F&P Pilairo I find the Swift to be comfortable and easy to get used to.... my early mistake was trying to get it too tight and ended up with sore painful nostrils. light...

No idea to be honest.
I understand most noises comes from the humidifier section, but not sure how to rectify the noise issues.

Re: ResMed AirSense 10 vs. S9 autoset: Update please
Have been using my S9 since 2013, and has been pretty awesome; But been having some issues recently due to my F&P Pilairo falling apart. So after browsing cpap.com, found the Airsense, and am very interested to see if its worth updating to a new toy.... When I first had the S9, it was a big improvem...

Re: Got my new S9 AutoSet!!
hmmm... strange with the "breathing" noise, as I have also just started using the S9 Autoset... Im still using my old F&P 431 Full face mask and I find that the machine is seriously dead silent when Im using it.. My start off pressure is at 6, and there are times that I had to pull my mask off my fa...

Re: Diary of a new Sleep Apnean
Yesterday, after feeling like hell during the morning, did not improve by the time I've gone home and had dinner. Was expecting another late night as my partner was supposed to be going to airport at midnight, but her flight was delayed for 12 hours. So managed to have a bit of a wind down before be...

Re: Diary of a new Sleep Apnean
well I do hope that it is not directly related to the CPAP treatment, but was hoping I would feel a little bit more refreshed this morning Wearing the full face mask is god send as I have very bad hay fever during this time of the year, and I used to give up using the CPAP (well, i did actually) whe...

Re: Diary of a new Sleep Apnean
OK; now after using the S9 for the last few days, again I am amazed at how quiet this machine is... Also how easy it is for me to breath with during the ramping... However, after last night's sleep; I woke up with feeling kind of groggy and currently have a slight headache (and feeling sleepy) Accor...

Re: Any last minute advice?
have you checked secondwind? I just picked up a "gently" used S9 with new hoses, filter and water container for a very cheap price (look it up) Off memory (since I only got it yesterday) I looked up the info setting and it shows the total usage hours on it pretty easily (mine said on 22 hours) When ...

Re: Nightmares and Night Terrors on the CPAP
I agree on the nightmares not directly related to your CPAP treatment.... My gf doesn't have sleep apnea... she does, however, have had lots of dreams... when I first met her, she was not in a good place in life then, had lots of personal issues and baggages to carry, she was also into the clubbing ...

Re: Diary of a new Sleep Apnean
had the machine on last night... boy... when they say the S9 is quieter than the S8 they were not wrong about it... the breathing while ramping was so smooth and easy compared to how I had the S8 and it actually made me sleepy and want to close my eyes and fade away... HOWEVER... in the middle of th...
