Re: how did you pick your avatar?
Being that I am an avid drag racer I found an pic of an old 60's style drag mask. I figured it would be better than a pic of me with my nasal mask on.

Re: How many hours a night do you sleep poll
Have slept for 10-14 hrs at time but then again it was after being up for 24-36 hours straight(shift worker). Must admit that now I sleep about 7 and wake up feeling great. Before I would sleep 10 and feel like crap. Cpap I feel has allowed me to get the quality of sleep that my body requires instea...

Resmed had also said they would have it out by this camping season too, that by the way has passed.
I have a modified sinewave converter in my motorhome with two deep cycle kirklands that work like a hot damn. I use my humidifier in passover though.

Re: I ran my S9 dry.
Dang I let my humidifier go dry then refilled it. I had the weirdest taste in my mouth after refilling. After some time I realized what the problem was. During the summer I have been using my humidy in pass over mode and from reading threads on this forum had begun using cold bottled water from the ...

Re: Poll: How Prepared Are You Regarding A Cpap Backup Plan
The cpap back up plan is called a couch. She don't like the snoring? then she can hit the couch, lol. Really if something was to go sideways with the cpap I'm sure a few nights without it won't kill me. The couch was my place of rest for 12 years. Don't get me wrong, cpap has changed my life but OMG...

Re: FORUM CATEGORIES - (Just hear me out…)
The way some of the threads here get jacked, why the hell bother to catagorize them. I belong to alot of forums that are catagorized and must say that I enjoy this one the way it is. Sure it would make it easier for a newbie to navigate but then again that may be a form of spoon feeding. The search ...

Re: some newbie questions
Sleepymama welcome aboard from the other end of the country. Both manufacturers are good, Resmed and Resperonics. I have a Resperonics S9 auto and must say it is so quiet. I like its features and the fact that I can take control of my own therapy. You will find everything you need to analyze the dat...
