Sore Nose from Swift Lt

My father-in-law, who is 93 is using a Respironics Cpap Machine with oxygen. He has a Resmed Swift Lt Mask. We do not know if the redness and sore under his nose is from the mask or from a nasal drip. I know I read someplace on here what could be used, but haven't been able to find it. He does use A...

Re: Mask setting on CPAP

Thanks for the info. I left it on the Swift setting last night while using the Quattro. Tonight I will try the Quattro setting. I was able to keep my mask on all night as I got a sample pack of RemZZZ's and it made a difference for one night. Will see with using it two nights. Still tired.

But now I have had another sleep study in 2010 and am on CPAP again. But I still take 0.25 Mirapex (1/2 at supper and 1/2 at bed). This has hel...

Re: Constant noise in my head

Thanks for the comments. I have used this machine for 6 weeks and will see the specialist on the 25th. I think the swooshing noise is coming from the exhale ports. I have an old nasal pillow head gear and it has a bigger port so will try all three tonight and see what happens. The comment about the ...
