Airsense 10 power supply odd behavior going from 120V to 240V and back
I have an Airsense 10 Autoset that I received from DME in January brand new - it showed zero hours on the motor. Recently, I plugged it into an 120V 60Hz outlet in USA (where I live) after travelling to Europe and it wouldn't turn on - no green light on the 100-240V ResMed power supply. I tried plug...

Re: Advice for first time sleeping on airplane w/cpap?
Bose NC headphones mean there are no screaming kids anymore. One thing I discovered is there is a Bose configuration app to toggle if the headphones should turn automatically off when no music is playing. I disabled this feature so I could still have the noice cancelling benefit without any sound p...

Re: Advice for first time sleeping on airplane w/cpap?
I did not attempt to use CPAP on the flight. I'm not sure how long I slept, if at all. I feel like I slept for 10 mins or so, then would be woken up, then sleep a little more, etc. Never deep sleep. But somehow the time passed. It was maybe a 6.5 hour flight - we left 8:30PM eastern US time and arri...

Advice for first time sleeping on airplane w/cpap?
I've never attempted to sleep on a plane before, but I am taking a 7 hour redeye flight in a couple weeks. And then I'll be doing it again a couple weeks after that. I'll be seated in the aisle. Since no guarantee of an outlet, I have a Medistrom Lite 24V battery. I'll be using an Airsense 10 Autose...

Re: What brand of airline approved battery do you use for Dreamstation?
I don't own a Dreamstation, but the Medistrom 12V version (make sure you get 12V) sounds like it fits the bill - its sold by cpap.com so you can clarify with their support team to confirm it works. I just ordered the 24V version for my Redmed unit and like it a lot - it also works as a battery backu...

Is the power cord plugged in all the way? Mine will light up and report on screen the power connector is not inserted all the way

Re: S11 vs S10
I'm an 11 hater here... lots of different reasons... more keep popping up as time goes on. Love both my 10's, taken them apart, cleaned/repaired/rejuvenated my old one, served me a good 22,000 hours and now with a new motor it's good for another 22khours. Any good guides on this? ~10 years ago I ha...

Re: S11 vs S10
I just replaced my AutoSet 10 from March 2015 with another AutoSet 10 yesterday. It took some time to find one, everyone wanted to give me an 11. Why did I want the 10? Mainly because I have DC-DC adapter for the 10 I use camping, and I have other travel batteries that would need adapters to use the...

DME provided new machine with no water chamber?
DME dropped off a new CPAP machine, AirSense 10 AutoSet "Respond" model. I was surprised it came with no water chamber, they said insurance only covers water chamber every 6 months and since I received one a couple months ago, they couldn't give me one because they couldn't bill insurance for it :) ...

Re: Airplane battery: Freedom V2 vs Medistrom opinions?
I confirmed via email with cpaphero that the Freedom V2 it is NOT a 24v regulated supply, so I went with the medistrom whose support team says it is. I'm guessing thats why medistrom sells separate 12V and 24V models. I'll check with my multimeter once I get it! The freedom v2 seems no different tha...

Re: Airplane battery: Freedom V2 vs Medistrom opinions?
The Freedom V2 battery might not be a regulated 24V output either, which is the same issue as the TalentCell. Quote from manual: Battery Starts Then Stops Working If the battery starts powering your device and then shuts down, try to reset the internal circuitry (see page 5). If the battery continue...

Re: Airplane battery: Freedom V2 vs Medistrom opinions?
Hmm, I wonder if Medistrom is still in business - I noticed their website disappeared: http://medistrom.com/ Freedom v2 seems made by an outfit "cpaphero": https://cpaphero.com/freedom-v2-battery/ EDIT : I was able to call Medistrom and get a hold of someone, seems their website is down as is their ...

Airplane battery: Freedom V2 vs Medistrom opinions?
Twice in the coming months I'll need to use CPAP on an international overnight flight, something I've never done before. I have an AirSense AutoSet 10. Both planes claim to have an outlet at the seat, but reading fine print it explicitly states on two different airlines that I need to use a battery ...

Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
I just read this article on CNN about Philips' cpap recall settlement: https://www.cnn.com/2023/09/08/business/philips-cpap-recall-settlement/index.html Is this quote about "at least" 385 deaths correct? This is shocking to me. I'm a ResMed user so I haven't been paying close attention. The FDA rece...

What size is my Airfit N20 "Mask Assembly Kit" ?
I have an Airfit N20 and would like to order a replacement "Mask Assembly Kit" but I'm not sure how to tell what size it is. I see no markings anywhere with a size. I do have a Medium size cushion - probably an indication everything is size medium, but I believe at one point DME tried a large "Mask ...
