The right full face mask for high pressure

I have a buddy that was just put on cpap with a pressure of 20, which I told him I'm surprised they just didn't give him a bipap, but he was asking me if there was a full face mask made for higher pressures. I really don't think I have heard of one that is supposed to be better for higher pressures,...

Respironics Auto Bipap, what's it worth?

I just recently purchased a respironics auto bipap online but after using it for not even 2 full nights I went back to my m series cpap. Does anyone have any idea how much it's worth since it has been "barely" used? If anyone may be interested in it let me know because I prefer the cpap pressure mys...

Set up in Sleep Lab

I just had another sleep study done since it had been awhile and I noticed that the sleep lab I went to actually do their own set ups. They said that when someone comes in for their first titration they set them up with their cpap before they leave and they go home with it plus the mask they were te...

I love the idea of user ratings, maybe have a choice of up to 5 stars kind of like on Amazon.com where you can rate products. What about maybe even having a section on upcoming products that manufacturers are working on that might be available in the future? Just a thought.

Cleaning hose

I never clean my hose because I always get one every month, should I clean it on a regular basis or just keep using my new hoses when they come in each month?

New Fisher Paykel CPAP

Has anyone tried out the new Fisher Paykel SleepStyle 600 CPAP? I have looked at it and noticed it had a heated hose along with a heated humidifier. I still have a dry mouth using my respironics integrated heater, of course it has only one heat setting. Please post some feedback anyone who has tried...

Also make sure you have each strap adjusted the same on each side, if not it will cause the mask to sit unevenly on your face resulting in some leaks. I also found out that with the flexifit 431 that trying some of the extra sizes they include in the box helps out.

I have never paid out of pocket for the hose or the filter, they told me it was just a maintenance schedule since replacing the filters was the only way to make sure the cpap runs smoothly at all times.

As long as they call I guess I will keep replacing, I guess it is better to change them too often than not enough. Thanks for all the replys.

Replacing filters and hose

The company I'm with sends me 2 disposable filters every month plus a hose, do these really need to be changed out that much? I was just curious how often everyone changes theirs out.
