Re: nasal pillow mask questions
... I know with the Nasal mask it was designed that the air from the CPAP as diverted away from the vent but there is nothing in the FX. I do find it annoying have so much air blowing out the vent onto the pillow or doona due to the noise or onto my air due to the breeze. Does anyone else have issu...

Re: nasal pillow mask questions
I use the Resmed Swift FX and for comfort I certainly prefer it over the Nasal masks as I am a side sleeper too. I haven't had any issues with the hose or anything so that is good. My only question is in regards to the venting on the mask. I am really surprised how much air comes out the vent even w...

Re: Question About Sleep Usage For ResMed S9 Elite
The do say that your AHI should be under 5.0,that is considered treated.
In relation to the number of hours used perhaps download your data and view it that way. If you don't have the s/w and instructions just post back and someone should assist.

What have people in OZ paid for S9
I am interested in hearing what price people paid/quoted for ResMed S9 Elite and Autoset.
I am returning my hire autoset next week and have to decide which way to go.

Treating Central Apnea
I had a follow up with my Sleep DR. on Tuesday I commented I was concerned about my Central Apnea's. Since using CPAP I have had an a AHI 2.3 and Central of 1.7. So to me my major issue is Central. Now I know this is under 5.0 so is acceptable. The DR suggested I try the Resmed S9 on AutoSet to see ...

New Mask last night - Resmed Swift FX
So I bought a new mask after having comfort issues and leak issues with my Resmed Mirage Activa LT. Last week I took the Mirage off 3 times without realising. I am a side sleeper and had issues with comfort and when I would move it would leak. Trying on the Resmed Swift FX before bed I was concerned...

For those that have installed, have you noticed anything different?
I found where data is actually stored on your pc. Choose Tools from the menu then Patient Manager. The file path is listed Under Patient Group Location.

Re: ResScan Stats help
The report from my titration said: The patient had an in lab autoset titration. A 95th percentile CPAP pressure of 9.6 cm H2O with a maximum pressure of 10.6 cm H20 resulted in good control of OSA. There were a few central events at the start and towards the end of the study but oxygen saturation re...

Re: 3 Days and still tired!!!
I am a newbie too. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to it. I think the extra exhaustion could be because of the stress of dealing with this new thing. I have been going for nearly 2 months and I am starting to feel better. Not as exhausted as I used to be late at night. Stick with it.
