Re: AirMini Clinical Menu
The previous poster is correct. I have an iPhone X. Press the Bluetooth icon on the dashboard. The next screen that comes up that says ‘your AirMini machine is connected and ready to use’ has two small resmed and AirMini icons above the picture of the machine. They don’t ‘feel’ clickable but if you ...

Re: My S9 is rejecting my SD card -- what should I do?
I'd say format the card on a pc and try that.
My S9 didn't like a card that had anything else on it but S9 data. If you've downloaded the card recently it won't matter if you wipe it clean.

Re: S9 Help with data
If you hold down your info and setting buttons together for >3 secs, you will go into the advanced information menu. Three clicks to the left on the dial gets you to the third tab down, or the settings screen and you can see exactly what your machine is set to as far as if it is auto and what range ...

Re: ResScan 3.10 & S9 AutoSet summary data?
There are tabs along the top of the rescan window, usually you click the one to the furthest left for the summary, and the next tab along shows you the detailed info.
Have you tried that?

Finally Got My S9.
So yesterday I got to go pick up my new S9 Autoset. It was well worth the 2 hour drive as my costs after insurance turned out to be under $80. Cheaper than the PR System One Auto would have been at the DME in my hometown as they quoted me $200. The new DME is pretty nice. Their RT fitted me for a Re...

Re: DME mistreatment and can't get a Resmed for love nor money
Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit. I just had a call from the DME that Resmed put me in contact with. I called them with my request for an S9 Autoset, 3 days ago, faxed them all my details, etc and they told me it would take about 3 days to hear back from the insurance. This morning they ca...

Re: RERA index and Vibratory Snore index
What DME are you using? I may be looking for another one soon! I wanted to try a Hybrid mask but they said they only carry Respironics. They did finally say they would see what they could do, but I haven't heard back from them. If they can't get me the Hybrid, I may try the Respironics Fitlife. I a...

Re: RERA index and Vibratory Snore index
Without an EEG, there's no way to really see if you've had an arousal, as in an event which disturbs sleep enough to take you out of a deeper stage into a less deep stage of sleep. The machine is reporting a 'suspected' arousal based upon data which is probably some combination including vibratory s...

Re: RERA index and Vibratory Snore index
RERAs: Respiratory effort related arousals. Episodes that are not apneas or hypopneas, often related to loud snoring, that generally do not cause a decrease in oxygen saturation. Vibratory Snore: How many times the machine *detects* snoring. However, its pretty inaccurate because the sensor can pick...

Re: Sleep Study in a few days, how to justify S9 Autoset
Ultimately I didn't need any of the following arguments as my sleep doc gave me a script for an S9 with nothing other than a 'sure, no problem'. Getting one from a DME - whole 'nother ball game. Definitely call Resmed, get them to call your Rep and find out who is most likely to be able to supply on...

Re: 5% Leak Rate. What does this mean?
You also need to look at the manual for your mask. In there is a graph which tells you what the expected leak rate for the mask is (from the vents etc) for the given pressures. As long as you are under the expected leak rate you should be getting the therapy you are supposed to.

Re: Regarding the PR System One Algorithm?
So, how'd it go the first night with the S1??? Not bad. Not the blissful close eyes, wake up 8 hours later, feeling like a new woman suddenly wanting to clean my house experience I'd been hoping for though I woke up a bunch of times, but I think that was mostly the mask/hose irritating me. I'm not ...

Re: DME mistreatment and can't get a Resmed for love nor money
So I picked up my loaner PR APAP from the DME. Then came home and took a 4 hour nap with it. My initial thoughts are that its not bad. Its so quiet I can't hear it. Just the noise of me breathing with the mask (A Swift LT), and I think I may give the larger pillows a try tonight as they seemed to be...

Regarding the PR System One Algorithm?
I went to pick up my loaner PR System One APAP today. Something the RT said irked me. She said the PR responds to events on a 4 minute cycle? Surely that has to be wrong, because it sure doesn't sound like it would be effective if you had to struggle to breathe for 4 mins, before the machine respond...
