Re: S9 Autoset or AirSense 10?
I have been using an S9 Auto for over 5 years and changed to an Airsense 10 Auto about a week ago. Had to change mask as well because F&P Zest Nasal mask changed the foam insert to a smaller form size and the mask body pressed on my nose all the time. I changed to an F&P Eson Nasal mask and it is go...

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.
Just a follow-up on my progress and to support others on this path. I have now been using my S9 APAP for over 4 years and my life has changed totally. I am now no longer tired from one end of the day to another. I am back to being a morning person, waking up when the sun comes up, as I did when I wa...

Re: OSA- two week titration
It is great to see you taking charge of your treatment and I wish you well with it. You clearly have a number of things to deal with and it may take a while to identify and resolve them in turn. It appears like the ppneas are able to be controlled with your treatment. An O2 study seems logical to as...

Re: POLL: How effective is your therapy?
Good to see a lot of people are gaining benfit from their XPAP treatment. What a wonderful device. I have had no real significant issues getting used to it. After 17 months on CPAP I am feeling great and regaining many of life's pleasures, ie good sleep, fully awake when I open my eyes in the mornin...

Re: s9 questions
Hi You have to get into the Clinician menu to change the Date and Time settings. Hold down the button on the lower right corner of the display (it has two ticks on it) and press the round button to the right of it at the same time and hold for three seconds to enter the Clinician Menu. Rotate the ro...

Re: confused as to what's happening - 2 weeks on cpap
Hi I am somewhat new to CPAP and this forum however I am learning as well. I am interested to understand from people on the forum why it is suggested that you should increase your lower pressure when your AHI results are getting worse than the AHI of 4 in the first reading, or am I missing something...

Re: Time for S9 to react to an event
Thank you They appear to be about the same issue. Many of them are talking about only a few seconds of data skew. Mine is more than a minute at times. Hard to see how it would be fixed by formatting the SD card as I have seem the data correctly aligned and skewed all in one night. Anyway I will send...

Re: Time for S9 to react to an event
Thanks I see this sort of immediate response much of the time but I have many that have the AI Central or HI show up 30 to 90 seconds after the event can be seen in the airflow display. I will post one it as soon as I can figure out how to do that. I was just wondering if I have an intermittent equi...

Time for S9 to react to an event
I have been looking at the detailed graphs on my S9 using the software 3.1 version and have noticed a lot of variation in the time that it takes for the S9 to recognise and indicated an event AI, Central or HI. In the one night it was recognising the event immediately after the event, ie within one ...

Re: Poll: How Prepared Are You Regarding A Cpap Backup Plan
Hi SleepyTiger The box says - 900amp pwer supply 12 volt 17 amp hour. For info this is a car starter device with 900amp peak or 400Amp continuous for cranking a car engine for a short time. 12 volt 17 amp hr is 12 * 17 = 204 watts for an hour. I have an S9 which the spec of the S9 says requires abo...

Re: Newbie VERY disappointed in CPAP
Hi I am relatively new to CPAP as well with only about 2 months of use. After this time I would not sleep without my machine. I feel wonderful and very rested for the first time in years. Try to be patient with your setup and be confident that it will get better. Mask fit is a very personal thing. I...

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.
My first week with CPAP treatment and I think that it is a success so far. Still coming to grips with the details that are important. Inital study AHI 46, O2 stats down to 80% at worst, 66 seconds longest apnoea. Study with CPAP was a disaster and I was dreading the start of the treatment as I did n...

Re: Resmed S9 Software - Where can I get it?
Hello and thanks to all the active contributors to this forum. I am new to the CPAP but not to the poor health from what appears to be a long time with OSA. I have been trying to get used this this mask and S9 for about one week now. What a challenge but making progress. Still reading up on all the ...
