The Settling time can be adjusted by the patient. The max Settling time is the longest Settling time they are allowed to select. Settling time is different than a ramp. Why is it scented? I hate scented stuff. Try this...I used an old cushion from my resmed quattro, cut a small strip from the cushion and used it on the bridge of my nose...it worked well...thin, flexible.

I think one of the points is that the data, the AHI and such, are much less reliable if there are lots of leak and this might lead to various problems with the data and the ability of an auto to properly titrate.

At a sleep conference I once saw a demo of a soft battery powered cpap unit that hung around your neck/shoulders for traveling. I don't remember the name but it looked interesting.

Yeah off setting the clock is a work around. Such high tech expensive top of the line equipment shouldn't need a work around but nobody's perfect...except my compliance.
