Re: Any mouth breathers not using full face?
I was desperate to find a mask that would let me just sleep with out the hisses and squeaks that were extremely disturbing to my sleep. As a confirmed mouth breather I was surprised to find that I could use the Opus 360. It was even better than the hybrid mask (mouth and nose-pillows) which I could ...

Re: Night sweats less/ but not snores with increased pressures
That was a unique story about your pug. Also interesting how that reflects on the technology. The card is not giving me anything new this morning. I did again notice that the power plug was not in all the way as I took the card out. Perhaps I am doing that as I twist the machine around to see my cha...

Re: Night sweats less/ but not snores with increased pressures
OK, here is the data, I did notice that one of the wires was half unplugged into the machine. I also "rebooted" the machine, I don't normally turn it off--as in disconnecting power. Thanks for the input above, but you will have a hard time convincing me that the higher pressure and less sweating are...

Re: Night sweats less/ but not snores with increased pressures
Perhaps I did not set the card in correctly but somehow there is no new data this morning. I downloaded two times, same result.
Frustrating, for now.

Re: Night sweats less/ but not snores with increased pressures
Q--Do you have a spouse who can confirm the snores? A--No. And it is not a good enough reason to get married again. Q--Do you use a hose cozy or route your hose over your head...or let it lay on the bed? A--The hose goes over my head and slides on a rope, strung between bed posts, if I move sideways...

Re: Night sweats less/ but not snores with increased pressures
Hi, Here are the images, I hope. Some progress has been made with increasing my pressures past 10/10. I remember trying the Bipap Auto feature long ago but I was still experiencing major mask issues then, so it was a bust. Also, perhaps the Epap is just as important as the Ipap in cutting snores? I ...

Re: Night sweats less/ but not snores with increased pressures
I should have titled this thread,"night sweats gone/ but not snores" Could we see an image of a typical night's daily detailed report? I was able to save the report as a PDF in my documents but it will not copy paste into this page. I have seen it done but I don't know how to do that. Instruction on...

Night sweats less/ but not snores with increased pressures
I only get night sweats during the summer time. Lately I haven't been having my nightly head and upper torso soaking since I turned up my Bipap pressures a little to help with the snore problem. I do keep the house on the warm side at 82 all night, but it seems comfortable, especially with the ceili...

Re: Pugsy's Pointers Collection
Hi, I appreciate that there are some gurus here especially with computer /software questions. I was using my Infineer and Encore 2.0 software until I changed to Win7 64 bit (prof). I did install a Win XP virtual machine. Installed the software under that and even tried to install the USB into the vi...

Re: CPAPAuction shutting down? New postby coconut on Wed Sep 07, 2011 8:23 pm So where will people go to sell and buy used ones now? It'd be interesting to know. Yes, I hope they can come back; some legal thing I presume. I purchased many a different mask there once I decided to get serious about f...

Re: deviated septum
Hi Jimmy C. Your situation sounds a lot like mine, except perhaps your one side limitation might be some worse than mine. I used to think I was a mouth breather and started out with a mask called MIRAGE LIBERTY by ResMed. I hated it but became convinced that I could be a nose breather with CPAP, (be...
