Re: New Mask from Cpap.com - question about it...is it "new"?
My F&P Opus 360 mask that I purchased recently from cpap.com came the same way. plastic shield over the Med nasal pillows which were mounted to the mask frame. The small & large nasal pillows were wrapped in plastic but the mask headgear was not--just in a box. I've had other F&P masks in the past a...

Re: Need recommendation for a travel CPAP
plr66: hope it's OK for me jump in and answer your question. Yes, my Intellipap Auto automatically shuts off the humidifier when it's on battery power. I thought that was a pretty cool feature. That gives you passive humidification on battery. I tested out my new battery a couple of nights ago, and ...

Re: Sorting DC cords
checked my dc plug just now. It seems to work fine in my M Series Plus with a battery. Just ran it a few minutes, but it seems to fit tight and not easily pull out. The DC plug does not have a groove in the end. My power plug AC does have a groove like yours in the picture. I don't know why the DC c...

Re: Sorting DC cords
I think it looks like the one on the right in the picture, but I'll check. The end of the one on cpap.com looks like the one on the right. My M Series Plus is the old (discontinued) model, so I don't know if it's the same set up as yours.

Re: Sorting DC cords
I have this DC cord from cpap.com https://www.cpap.com/productpage/respironics-12volt-dc-power-cord.html Site says it works with all M Series machines. I have a older M Series Plus and Intellipap APAP. Works on the Intellipap just fine. Not tried it on the M Series yet, but it's a Respronics cord, s...

Re: Question Regarding Dental Issues
I agree with everyone that you need to see a dentist to know what's really going on with your teeth. I also have sinus issues and occasional minor tooth / gum pain in my back teeth, especially when any pressure is put on the teeth, though not nearly as bad as you describe. My dentist told me that a ...

Re: Post your favorite mask
Sorry to jump in so late. My favorites out of my drawer full of masks are:
Mirage Swift II by Resmed (nasal pillow) - use the most
Mirage Ultra by Resmed (FF) - use occasionally when congested
Flexifit HC 407 by F&P (nasal) - don't use a lot
Thanks for allowing me to add my $0.02 worth too!

Re: How did YOU Resolve Your Mouth-Leaks? (poll)
I been using a Premium Chinstrap with my Swift II and denture strips. Last night I tried the denture adhesive paste (member of the mustache crew) and it cut my leaks to 0% for the 1st time!

Re: Another Newbie to the form
Sorry for the slow reply. This is my 1st forum and I'm still learning. I use the Seabond denture strips (for uppers) and just moisten them and stick my lips together. Works pretty well if they don't dry out. I've found you can lick them if they unstick and get them to stick back pretty well. Works f...

Re: Another Newbie to the form
I think I'll stick with the denture strips for a while. I didn't realize there were strips for uppers and lowers when I picked them up. I got the uppers which are more material. Perhaps the lowers work better? What do you use? Also, do you use a chin strap? If so, which one do you use? I have the Su...
