Re: Q's about PR Sys 1 Auto

His machine does not have the heated hose option so it must not be a 60 series. I noticed that his a-flex is also set on 3 and so far he seems happy with it. It was not set to allow him to check his AHI, but that was readily solved with a little button pushing This machine is certainly bulkier than ...

Re: Q's about PR Sys 1 Auto

Thank you so much for the quick reply. I thought he was getting a good machine, but after prior experience with a bad DME in Illinois I wanted to be certain before it was too late to do anything about. I don't think it is a 60 series, but he fell asleep before I finished my paper, so I'll have to do...

Q's about PR Sys 1 Auto

Hi all, Ordinarily, I would be more than happy to spend hours researching a new machine. I'm a researcher by nature and I enjoy the hunt. However, I am an overworked under paid grad student spending hours on thesis work and data analysis and I simply do not have the time to dedicate to cpap machine ...

Re: Research ideas...

Thanks for the responses. I guess I should have been a bit more specific, but I fingured that since I mentioned I was working with clinical and neuro psychologist the direction of focus was kind of implied. One thing that interested me is how sleep apnea (or sleep disorders in general) impact cognit...

Research ideas...

I'm in the process of thesis development and I have some general ideas of what I want to do but who better to bounce ideas off of then my fellow sleep apneans? If you had an opportunity to work with a clinical health psychologist a neuropsychology and a sleep clinic that is open to allowing you to r...

Re: Rescan problems please help (SOLVED)

It turned out to be a windows 7 compatibility problem. I right clicked on the rescan icon, clicked the compatibility tab and told it to run in windows xp service pack 3 compatibility mode and now it works just fine.

Re: Rescan problems please help

The sd card from my camera works just fine and when I insert the resmed card my pc recognizes it and asks what I want to do (open to view files etc). If I go to computer, and then the drive with the card I can see data files listed by date for every day for the last 30 days. I am assuming this means...

Re: Rescan problems please help

sorry, one more thing...

When I try to manually import the data I get an error saying there is no machine data at this location G:\DATALOG

Do I need to reformat the card? If so is there anything I need to know before reformatting or do I just right click on the drive letter and go for it?

thanks

Re: Rescan problems please help

I tried both with an without the drivers. I installed it without and then uninstalled, ran my registry cleaner, deleted the user data folder did a system restore and then installed with the drivers. I think it must be something wrong with the card because I can't get sleepyhead to find my data eithe...

Re: Rescan problems please help

I've now tried doing a system restore back to before installing rescan and then installing version 3.14 with no success. It will not recognize that there is a sd card in the slot. I have no idea what else to try. I'm not sleeping well and feeling like crap and I was hoping to take a look at my data ...

Rescan problems please help (SOLVED)

I apologize if this has been covered. I did a search and found a poster with similar problems but the thread ended before saying what a possible solution might be. I'm running windows 7 (64 bit) and using a built in card reader. I've installed Rescan 3.13 and when I try to download my data from the ...

Re: CPAP use in public

I think when I first started CPAP it may have bothered me but now I would just do it and not worry about what anyone thinks. If I try to sleep without it I get migraines and feel hungover and crappy. Theirs no way I would let worrying what strangers think end up in me feeling crappy because I opted ...

Re: Polling all Swift FX users

Instead of those thin little strap covers provided with the Swift FX, I use a fleece pad that covers the entire silicone part of the frame made by Padacheek. Keeps that silicone strap from getting tangled in my curly hair and helps pad that place where the backstrap comes into the silicone part of ...

Re: Where to buy Resmed?

From the sounds of things I missed out on some drama. (thankfully) I have enough drama in my life. haha Thanks for all the advice. I may end up checking out other brands before it is over with, but I am very pleased with my S9. My husband has a crappy dataless S8 and he is really eying my S9 and I f...
