Mask leaks only when I inhale-help!
Somebody out there has to know the answer. My full face mask leaks only when I inhale. It then makes the face fart noises we are all familiar with. I can't sleep. The doc and the techs keep telling me to try a different mask which I have done numerous times. They all do the something. After I put on...

Re: NO Heart Surgery Thanks To PadACheek & APAP!
That is scary to think that the doctor couldn't figure out your "heart problem" any better than that. When I developed a-flutter my cardio doc immediately sent me for a sleep study as she was pretty certain apnea caused the flutter. She was right!
Glad you are doing so well. Good luck.

Re: Mask leaks from outside in !!
I thank you for the responses. What really puzzles me is why my masks leak from the outside in. I would think that it would be the high pressure inside the mask breaking the seal. It's as if when I inhale I create a negative pressure inside the mask, causing air to be pulled in and then the noises o...

Mask leaks from outside in !!
I have tried numerous FF masks over the last 16 months with the same results. Face fart leaks on every one of them! Mostly the leaks were in one place, on the right side near where the mask turned from horrizontal to vertical. What I just now realized was that the leaks occured when I inhaled, and t...

Quattro fx headgear too small?
I have been using a Quattro mask with medium size mask and headgear. After months of fighting leaks I ordered an FX medium. It came with medium headgear that is way too small and had to have the mask very tight to just get it buckled. I have been waiting for several weeks for my DME to get me a larg...

Re: Resmed VPAP Auto Clinical Manual
Hey Gang, I too need instruction manual for resumed vpap auto 25. I have been fighting my machine for 16 months with all kinds of problems, but now I am getting far enough along that I see that even though I had hoped to avoid doing it I need to get into the technical end of it. If someone would be ...

Re: Just Curious......
I took my mask off in my sleep numerous times in the past year and have no clue why or how i did it. Anyway, now after a year of fighting mask leaks and claustrophobia I am getting much better in keeping the mask on all night. Don't let this problem discourage you. Hang in there and you will succeed...

Re: Heated hose Development
This may seem a little primative to you but I have found it effective to put the excess hose next to my chest, under my tee shirt. The machine is right next to me so most of the hose is underneath my shirt. This will warm the air 5 or 6 degrees without any additional expense. Don't laugh, it works!

Re: do you really like the s9 climate line hose, or not?
Does anyone know if a heated hose is available for a Resmed V-Pap Auto 25 ? I hate the cold air (70-72 deg) in my face and the Hi 1 humidifier only helps warm the air at times.

Re: Watery eyes with the Quattro
Remzzzs dont make a 100% seal. Air gets in thru the porous cotton material. They do stop the noise of leaks for the most part but some air leaks thru anyway. Do you have the same problem without the remzzzs? You might try a little tape on the top part of your mask to keep the air from reaching your ...

Remzzzs mask liners
I have had trouble with using the remzzzs liners, mainly when I inhale , air leaks into my mask through the cotton liner. This air feels really cold and is very uncomfortable, making it impossible to sleep. The air doesn't leak out when I exhale and otherwise stops all of the noises. Gt any ideas?

Re: Newbie problems with a full face mask
I had horrible problems with leaks with my mirage quattro full face. Someone put me on to Remzzzs mask liners. They are made of cotton and are cut to fit over the plastic gasket on your mask. I bought a box of 30 and didn't use them for a month because they looked too simple to work. I finally used ...
