Re: First night with swift fx
I've had my Swift FX for about 2 years and love it. I sleep much better with it than I had with the nasal mask. I didn't like waking up with a triangle shape ring around my nose and of course it would be gone by the time I got dressed and such, but the FX is a much more comfortable mask. I don't ha...

Re: Best Book Reading-Friendly Mask
I use the Swift FX and I can watch tv and read my kindle and play games on my tablet and all that. Even listen to my zune. If the hose blocks my view on the kindle or tv, I just move it to one side and no other problems. Good luck, Huggies, Fay

Re: Ramp
I don't use the ramp feature on my machine any more either, but it is nice to have for those that are new and getting used to the machine. It did seem to take forever to get the right pressure for me too. Well, gotta go so have a great day, Huggies, Fay

Re: CPAP Furniture
Belive it or not, I use an old shower stool to set my machine on and use the old beat up capap hose lifter I ordered with the bottom broken off. I made a new bottom for it and it is all working just dandy. I can reach the machine every time I need to take off the mask to hit the jon or what ever I ...

Re: SnuggleHose hose cover, overpriced junk
I made mine out of prequilted fabric and I put the rubber part of the hose in a baggy and then a rubber band around that and it goes in nice and smooth. I saved about $15.00 by making my own. I also made some padding out of a heavier fleece, not felt. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

Re: Kept the cats out
I stay at my mother's house most of the time to help care for her, but my sister's cat does not bother my machine and hose. She doesn't like a closed door so she will scratch at it tho. I hope she doesn't learn how to step on the off button on my machine when she wants to be fed. I get up and make ...

Re: Do you have a CPAP hose lift?
I bought one from the Walter Drake catalogue and it came to me with the base broken off , but I made a new base for it and it works fine for me. The thing wobbles, but I can fix that I guess. Well Good luck if you get one or what ever you make to work for you. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

Re: Homemade pillows?
Yes Some one on the forum designed a pillow pal I made one and it sure works out great. A pillow case would be easy enough to make for it or like one of the above posters said, modify a ready made pillow case to fit it. You can find pillow cases in thrift stores to modify with and such so you won't...

Re: Anyone planning to try Provent?
They cost around $70.00 for a 30 day supply and I don't think that is worth the money if it doesn't work. I saw them at the sleep clinic where my mother had her study. I don't think they are any better than those breath right strips in my opinion. I think it is too much money for some thing you use ...

Re: I hate my CPAP!!! audiobooks
I listen to my Zune and I usually fall alseep before the 3rd song is done playing. Funny how that is. I also have one of those machines that play nature sounds like rain and summer nights and ocean waves and so on. I haven't used that in so long but I love it. I just haven't used it in awhile so I ...

Re: It's official - Two CPAP family now
We are a 2 cpap family also. My sister in Indiana has a machine also, but I don't know what brand or model she has. When ever we are on the phone yakking, we start talking about our hoses and all that fun stuff and even talk about funny things that happens like getting tangled up in the hose. Revce...

Re: chipmunk taping question
First time I've heard of chipmunk cheeks, but the air gets in mine too and I jusr make a little hole with my lips and slowly blow out the air. I'm not a mouth breather, but the air does fill up once inna while. So it's a habit for me to blow out the air but I like to do it real slow. I can also dri...

Re: Anyone using those alarms with "natural light" to wakeup?
I found mine at the Goodwill for about 4 or $5.00 and it works great for me as I can't hear alarms in the first place so they are great for the deaf. I love mine. Don't know what I would do with out mine. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

Re: Hose manager system Grrrrr...
If you ordered it from cpap.com and it was broke just give them a call and I'm sure they'll replace it. Do you have a web site to show which one you ordered. I found it on sale at the Walter Drake site and I was floored that it was so cheaply made. I should have ordered from cpap.com or pursleep or...
