Re: Pap & sinus infections....
I have been on cpap for over 11 years, and rarely get sick. I am not an over eager clean freak either. I will go ages without cleaning, if I think I am coming down with a cold, I will use wipes on the pillows of my mask....... that's it! I don't empty my humidifier chamber either, unless I see somet...

Re: OT: Our house is a very, very very fine house(11-10 update)
Don't feel bad about the kitchen sink, Zonker. When we had our house built, we moved in Dec, NO kitchen sink, No countertops, etc. We had Xmas dinner cooked at least I had a stove, but... we had to wash the dishes in the bathtub! Son was home for the holidays but he hadn't realized when he can home ...

Re: Would like to buy a Cpap in ~2 weeks, Preference Resmed airsense 10
Definitely pm LSAT, he sold me one in May, hardly had any use...... basically new. He has a connection that allows him to sell "barely" used machines at a fantastic price. Yes he does use paypal to answer you question. I am extremely happy with my "new" Resmed autoset and would recommend him to anyo...

Re: blocking out noises
Be careful what you ask for: You may not wake up without "noise" of some sort. I have a friend that is deaf and uses a full face mask with her cpap. Last winter the people next door smelled smoke coming from her house and called the fire department, thinking that she was not at home because she didn...

Re: Fisher & Paykel Evora...
My F&P Evora review after four days of trial.... I have the mask dialed in and managed a 000 and NO leaks last night, Its a comfortable mask and does not leave mask strap marks or indentations in my hair, which to me is 100%. My only problem is the vents in the swivel DO hit the sheets and my pillow...

Re: Fisher & Paykel Evora...
Just received mine yesterday, gave it a good wash and used it last night. Still need to adjust the straps but I think it will be a good replacement for my P10. Had a little leaking (because of strap adjustment) but my ahi was still under .05

Re: CPAP with humidier in RV
You will be fine!!! I used a cpap, with humidifier on, in my motorhome for 10 years. I always carried the battery charger too, since I stayed in spots without power for days at a time. If I didn't have anywhere to charge the battery, I would either hook up to the coach battery or go for a drive to t...

Re: OT......The Bomb
A much better account can be found under "third atom bomb"---"the third shot". Text for those who are annoyed by obnoxious Brit accents, and grainy b/w images. World domination was a major goal of Japanese industrialists. Funny how some of our best sh*t comes from Japan. In a way, their surrender l...

Re: Sewing hose covers, strap covers
I make my own hose covers and have for many years. Just sew a tube, put a plastic baggie over the end of the hose when you are ready to put it on and just slide the cover over the hose. I use fleece in the winter and cotton quilting in the summer. As a matter of fact, I am quilting a new quilt right...

Re: COVID 19, CPAP, Ventilator MEGA THREAD...everything go here please
Hear Hear ! I am with you 1million percent. If you have to leave your home for ANY reason, for gods sake wear a mask and stay 6 feet away from the next person. Like my granddaughter told me, "Gram stay home!! if you catch this virus...... YOU ARE DEAD!!!!!!" I am one of those, along with a bunch of ...

Re: I Don’t Want to Wear a Damn Mask! -- David Mixner
Just to get back to the topic of the thread... **************************************************** Listen, Gang, I get it. The nation has been through a trauma. Many of us have had to spend months alone under lockdown. Our friends and family are supposed to stay six feet away from us with no hugs ...

Re: Airfit p10 strap issues and solution
I do the same as Dog Slobber; I bought the N30 adjustable strap and replace the P10 strap with it.... if it happens to stretch out, I can just tighten it.

Re: Wanted: Bleep mask
Yup! I get both of you Pugsy and Kevin. I just looked at a cdn supplier and they have the ports at 16 days worth for $47 WOOPS!! That's almost 3 bucks a day, can't manage that! I am still using our trusty old P10, but now that my mop is pure white and I keep it short, it still messes with it....

Wanted: Bleep mask
Does anyone have a Bleep that they don't like and would like to sell (cheaply). I would really like to try one but the $$$ in my house are really limited these days. I know I can get one from our hosts with the 3 week "trial" thing, but that doesn't work since it takes 3 weeks to get here during nor...
