rested gal -- Thanks SO MUCH for your reply! It makes a lot more sense to me than what I was told at the sleep center. It's also possible that 12 for the exhale isn't quiiiiite enough pressure for you. You might want to leave the IPAP (inhale) pressure where it is, on 16, and raise the EPAP (exhale)...

Good luck!
I used a flexifit for about a year and never could get it to stop leaking. I really like a FF mask, but could never get a good fit with one (I tried only a couple other ones), so I've switched to a nasal mask and am now using a bipap machine. I miss my cpap and my FF mask but I need the leak-free ni...

out of sync with bi-pap -- long post
I've been using a cpap machine for almost 2 years now and I'm on my 2nd machine. My pressure is 16. My first machine was a regular cpap. I was using a full face mask for the 1st year because my pressure was so high that the nasal mask was uncomfortable for me -- couldn't breathe, felt like I was suf...

re: brain fog
Well, I've been on cpap for a month now and I haven't really noticed that my brain fog has lifted much, but I do feel better. Actually, I'm more alert than I was before and my concentration is better. I still have brain freeze where my mind goes blank, but maybe that's age -- I'm not 33 anymore! I t...

Remstar humidifier leaking
I have a Remstar heated humidifier and it has begun leaking onto the table during the nite!! Now I'm afraid to use it -- don't want to electrocute myself! I took it off to drain and wash it and that's when the leaking started. The seal on the metal plate looks fine -- the unit is only 1 month old --...

full face & leaking
Thanks for all the advice!! I'm going to get the extra band and maybe I can back off the straps on my nose a little. I'm getting are permanent mark there.
At least I'm feeling more like a live person -- even if I'm leaking a little!!

full face & leaking
I just started cpap and have a Fisher & Paykel full face mask. I just got this mask on Monday and while it works better than my original mask (which was too large), it still leaks by the corner of my eye and the corners of my mouth. I woke up at 5am today to discover that I had taken my mask off som...
