Regular sleep or naps, always always, use the machine. If I dont I'm a snoring snorten apnea boy. (50 per hour) Don't even notice the mask during brief wakeups in the night. To me putting on the head harness is like a very warm comforting sleep hat that signals me it's slumber time so I fall asleep ...

Room Temperature
I here that it's better to sleep in a cool room vs a warm one. Do any of you know what temperature you try to keep your bedroom at? I, being in Minnesota, keep it at 54 to 62 degrees in the winter (not a problem) In summer with air conditioning I still crank it down so it's around 67 at night. I hav...

Why Would You Think?
Once or twice a week I like to take a nap either an hour or two after I get up or in the afternoon. When I don't hook up to cpap I may sleep sort of in and out for maybe 1 1/2 hours. (I know I'm having events but not being hooked up for once feels kinda good!) I'm satisfied with my little fitful nap...

This is the only mask i've had since starting cpap March 2nd of this year. I like it and have not needed to do the custom fit procedure. Sort of have a permanent dent in my forehead though from the mask. Am waiting for 6 months to go by so I can get my insurance to pay to get a Comfortlite 2 to try....

Thanks for the replys. Machine is a new one. The data from last night was all fine, the compliance data showed the two inturuptions from the alarms. Guess I'll just monitor it and see what happens. If I was to return it as defective I think it might be a good idea to evan further damage it somehow i...

Last night went to bed, put mask on, machine started up fine. About 20 minutes later wife wakes me up and says "Fix your machine!". The thing is beeping and the lighted buttons are flashing, Ex: Beep-Flash, Beep-Flash, Beep-Flash...... I was Groggy but the display may have displayed "C-1". I put the...

When I sleep on my side with the tubing running horizontal up toward the head of the bed its easy for my pillow to block the air vent on the mask. I've figured out if the hose would be suspended above me and the hose hung vertical the little vent hole would swivel and sit a little higher off the pil...

Less Sleep Needed
I also used to sleep like a log for 8 to 10 ten hours at a crack before cpap. With cpap I now average 7 hours sleep time. The biggest difference for me is upon waking from cpap I feel a certain rush of energy to get up and get going. Before cpap I awoke real slow, sat on the edge of the bed for a wh...
