Re: Help with Mask Ideas

Well, the DME gave the the ProBasic ZZZ full face mask to try. I've been using it for about 3 nights, doing pretty good. Had issues with noise and fit last night, but not having any issues with lasting marks on my face.

Re: Help with Mask Ideas

Thanks Jan for the special bandage angle! I'll have to try those too. I see the point about the pressure problem, time will tell I guess.

One problem down, I'm not giving up! I love your attitude. I am sure you will find a mask that works for you.[/quote] Thanks! I have been really upbeat and positive for about a month now. I was in a pretty, "oh pitiful me" phase for quite a while. I had been seeing another sleep doctor for over a y...

Re: Help with Mask Ideas

I did try the band aid early on. I think that might actually be a good solution too. I think I would need to use 2 band aids. I tried only one before and my irritation and bump only moved down my nose. I seem to be on the right track for a solution. I bought some Molefoam padding yesterday at target...

Re: Help with Mask Ideas

Thanks for the ideas. I tried the band aid thing the second night I wore the Quattro. My DME suggested to try some cosmetic sponges. I'm gonna get some of those today and try them. I'm gonna call them again on Monday and see if I can try the other masks that were suggested.

Help with Mask Ideas

Hi, I'm very new to all of this. Let me start there... I was diagnosed a couple of weeks ago. My pressure setting is 11. I currently have the Mirage Quattro FFM and the Liberty Hybrid nasal pillow mask. I liked the Quattro when I first got it, but I have been getting increasing damage to my nose bri...
