Re: PR System One humidifer "icon" light?

I've covered it with black electrical tape. It must be something with modern electronics manufacturers. *Everything* has to have an led lit, even when not in use. Between my tv, dvr, cpap, etc I've got little bits of tape all over my bedroom.

Re: Trouver une bonne mutuelle ?

Sheltered life. Back in college one of the guys on our floor had a sandwich press (not sure what its called, it would "seal" the two pieces of bread together to make a pocket sandwich). Our favorite recipe was white bread, spam, French's yellow mustard and gub'ment cheese. I've actually never tried ...

Re: Feel horrible on CPAP

Heck, everyone tells me I should be feeling "great" based on my numbers. AHI 1.6, low numbers for snoring, etc. They're shocked when I say I still feel like heck. Just yesterday I suggested to my sleep doctor that maybe I should increase my pressure again and got his ok (I like to get his "permissio...

Re: SEX DRIVE AFTER CPAP ?

My wife would probably tell you mine is too high as it is.

I'm still in the "when am I going to start feeling better?" phase but I never noticed a decrease when I started getting tired.

Like father, like son?

We took my six year old son to the ENT yesterday to get his tonsils looked at. His pediatrician mentioned last year that they were a little large and the dentist also mentioned it a couple of weeks ago. My wife mentioned that he snores and is cranky from being tired in the morning. The doc isn't goi...

Re: Deviated Septum Stories

*raises hand* All the way back as long as I could remember I could never breathe through my right nostril (and not too well through the left either). I've always had really bad allergies so chalked it up to that. For example, I found out just two years ago that I'm severely allergic to cats. We alwa...

Just last night actually. Leak-city. It seemed like all I had to do was twitch a finger and "ssssssssssss", always right in one eye or the other. I'm a wreck today.

Re: How many folks do you know on cpap outside this board?

Currently on, none. My best friend was on it in the past. He was severely overweight and had a gastric bypass. Once he lost a bunch of weight he had a sleep study done and was able to get off the cpap. Let's just say he really should go for another study now. My aunt was on it a long time ago. She c...

Re: Moderators are there any?

The board is run by cpap.com and from what I've read here people are real happy with how they do business (I haven't bought anything here yet because I need to get a copy of my prescription). As someone who hasn't been posting here very long I've noticed that the owners take a hands-off approach to ...
