Question...

Do you know if insurance companies will cover the cost of smart card readers and software? I'm just curious because I'd like to look at my sleep reports. Just thought I'd check before shelling out to buy it myself

I had my second sleep study last night and it went okay. I told them about my troubles and concerns with the DME and the sleep center gave me a new Comfort Lite 2 for free. The clinician told me that the vendors give them so many masks to try on patients so I wouldn't have to pay for it. I have to a...

I'm planning a trip to my DME this coming Monday (my next day off) and I'm going to try on every mask they have if that's what it takes LOL, They may hate me but they'll deal with it. You ...

I kind of had the same experience I didn't sleep well despite the prescribed sleep meds and the very comfortable bed. The technician who reviewed my study called me the next day and said that my apnea was very very borderline. However she decided to review my study again and told me that I have so m...

New CPAP user. Help please.

Well I got my CPAP and I really like the machine (REMStar Pro 2 C-Flex), it's quiet and easy to use. My problem is with the masks that the DME has brought to me. The first was a nasal mask and it was okay for the first 2 nights. Then my cheekbones started bruising and it became really uncomfortable....
