Re: Nasal pillow mask recommendations

Thanks. I've looked at the LT and FX but hadn't really explored the differences. Your suggestions are a start.

I said I was a side sleeper. Actually, I sleep more on my belly or belly-side.

Nasal pillow mask recommendations

I've been using nasal pillows for quite some time. I started with the Breeze, tried the Opus 360 and for the past couple years have used the OptiLife. The OptiLife has always given me a good seal but now head gear is sliding around at night. Maybe I just need new headgear. I had real hopes for the O...

I'd also like to have this software. Thanks.

Re: What do these numbers mean?

Much to my chagrin, when I went to place an SD card in the S9 I discovered the Resmed card already there. Doh! Of course, I didn't buy this unit through a medical provider so I'm not yet up to speed on all the bells and whistles. It's just nice not to have air whoosing through you whether you're inh...

What do these numbers mean?

I've been on my Resmed S9 Autoset for four days. Today at lunch I looked at my numbers from the night before. I believe they're all good but wasn't sure what AI meant (well, I'm from cattle country so I know what that A.I. means). Here are the numbers: AHI — 1.3 Total AI — 1.1 CA — 0.3 Ave. pressure...

Re: S9 Elite and S9 AutoSet difference?

ww, thanks for the short answer.

I know the difference between a cpap and an apap, and alterego61, I prefer to get the short and straight answer versus having to read through a bunch of corporate boilerplate.

Re: Opinions on new APAP

Hi JT If you don't collect/ record any data, then you will have to count on how you feel and maybe some snapshots at the Dr's office or sleep study to see if you're getting better... or even if you're on the right track. I, and many others here use a Mac with a virtual Windows machine inside of it, ...

Re: Opinions on new APAP

By common sense I meant that I wasn't going to buy the latest, greatest and most expensive just because it is those three factors. Honestly, I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the terminology and choices that area available. Do I need a machine that records all this data? I don't know. I probably couldn't...

Re: Opinions on new APAP

Thanks for the messages. My tendency has always been to try to buy as close to the best as possible but to also use common sense.

Opinions on new APAP

First-time poster... I've been on a CPAP for 15 years. I can't remember when I switched to the Respironics(?) Aria but I'd say at least seven or eight years ago. I still use my original humidifier, the kind that's about 8x10 and has a hinge on each side. It's old. My pressure setting is 13. I use th...
