Re: EncorePro v.2.2 Question
GetAFix, I hope someone has PM'd you by now w/advice on where to get EP 2.2 Do you insist on buying a "legal" copy or are you open to "anyway you can get it"? Hi, I'm fine with getting it either way. I just need to observe my day-to-day activities and changes to AHI to ensure that it stays as low a...

Re: Does Higher pressure stop snoring?
Just curious if higher pressure with your machine reduces snoring tendencies? I have a new machine too, 420E, and I have gone two days with a cool 17 hours use, 2 hours compliance. I have watched after 15 minutes to see the compliance symbol show, went to bed and nothing last night. Now, My wife sa...

Re: Lips of STEEL! Nothing can stop them!
Hi,
Before you try all the different masks would you try one more thing.
Use a chin strap and a tape and see how it works. My thinking is this: the chin strap will keep your jaws together even though the jaw muscles have relaxed and the tape would keep the lips sealed (literally speaking).

Hi,
I recently started on a PR S1 BiPAP machine. I was wondering where I need to go to procure Encore Pro 2.2. software. Would any kind soul please point me in the right direction?

Re: Poll: How Often Do You Clean Your Tank?
I have the tank for PR S1. It is easy to open. I always use distilled water. Every morning I empty the tank and rinse with tap water and then I leave it out to dry.

Re: Best Auto Cpap with data deal?
I don't know what the best deal is out there or not, but here's my recommendation: I've been using the PR S1 BiPAP machine and I've been happy with it so far.

Re: Newbie Question about APAP / PR System One with C-flex
A basic question. What exactly is a moleskin? Is it some sort of padding? If so, how would it help? Would it prevent from having a good seal with the mask?

Re: So, I've been diagnosed with...
I went to the DME and talk to the Resp. Therapist. She highly recommended the PR System 1 BiPAP Auto machine. So, I ended up getting the following setup: PR System 1 BiPAP Auto PR System 1 Humidifier Mirage Activa LT Mask. I got a Resmed Easy Life Mask as well on a loaner just to see if it works for...

Re: So, I've been diagnosed with...
Thank you John for clearing that up. Being new to XPAP treatment, all this information is immensely useful. Between the PR S1 BiPAP Auto and the S8 VPAP Auto 25, which has better data capability? I read somewhere that the Encore Pro software did not work well with the new PR System One machine. Is t...

Re: Hole In Roof
One of my friend is taking Ambien for his insomnia. I read some of his emails that he sent after he took the Ambien and before going to bed. This sounds just like it. All I would like to say is that thanks for keeping this forum in your thoughts and I mean it in the most sincere way.

Thank you. I'll update that. That is the list I'm taking with me to the DME within a couple of days . I'm looking forward to getting one of these machines and trying them out.
