Re: Used Remstar Auto CFLEX
Interesting - I stand corrected then. All this time I thought it was AFLEX because that's what my RT called it and that was before the M series even came out. Maybe she heard the term because it was in development and thought that's what the AFLE in the setup meant. Anyway, thanks for the correction...

Re: Used Remstar Auto CFLEX/AFLEX
No, it's true Wulfman. The model # is 1017453 if that can be checked anywhere. It does look like yours, but when you go into setup, the choices are AFLE, CPAP, CFLE and APAP. It was the first model with AFLEX and I got it right after it came out.

Used Remstar Auto CFLEX
I have a used Remstar Auto CFLEX machine that I’m no longer using and would like to pass on to someone. It’s about 3 ½ years old but has not been used for the last 2 ½ years. The pump makes a whirring noise that drove me batty. I replaced it with an M-class Respironics that was about as noisy, but a...

Re: Used CPAP Machine
Thanks LSAT and Wulfman. I think I will try here first. I'm not trying to make any money on it. I'll open a new topic.

Used CPAP Machine
I was wondering if it's appropriate to offer a used CPAP machine for sale on this forum? If not, what does one do to recycle it? It seems senseless to throw it away.

Thanks again Dave. I'll check back after I'm able to get the S9. I'm really excited about it. Bob

Re: Resmed S9 or Respironics PR System One?
Thanks dave21. Sounds like it could be a good way to go. Is it your experience that the S9 is quiet? Also, how does one obtain the software? And is the Clinicians menu available to everyone or do you have to obtain a clinicians manual to get into it? I've had my supplier lock me out of the Respironi...

Resmed S9 or Respironics PR System One?
Hi. I'm a new member. I've been a CPAP user for 11 years and I'm going to get a prescription Tuesday for a new machine. I've had a Remstar with AFLEX in the past which seemed to work for me most of the time AND was VERY quiet. I now have a class M (CFLEX only) that is very noisy and does not adjust ...
