Night #2 on the S9 AutoSet…two BIG thumbs up!!!!
I got to say that I something has really changed and I think the S9 is a part of it. I only got 4.5 hours of sleep again (I will make up for it tonight!) and I feel unbelievable today. My AHI for last night was 0.20 (one event at about 5AM for 11 seconds). I am normally drinking a bunch of Diet Coke...

Re: First night on S9 Autoset...
Prowest - So how did your first night go? Hi all…the executive summary of my first night with the S9 is that it is really nice. I do not know how to get images on this forum otherwise I’d post my detailed data. It is definitely quieter than my M-series Pro and I like the data it captures for review...

First night on S9 Autoset...
Just got my S9 AutoSet today (Wednesday) and set it up. My M-Series CPAP was at 8cm...I set the range from 8-20 cm for tonight to see what kind of pressures I have when I have events. I also got a new cushon for my Mirage Quattro Full Face and set it up to make sure the leakage is at a minimum. I am...

S9 AHI accuracy?
Hi folks...noob here...I have been reading about how great everyone’s AHI results have been that made the switch to the S9 unit. I also purchased an S9 AutoSet unit and will get it this week. I bought it mainly to have a unit that is not as loud (my M-Series has a noticeable blowing sound), but I al...

Re: Anyone carried out tests between Auto and fixed pressures?
8-20 BAD BAD BAD IDEA!!! APAP 8 to 10 / 12.. better .. 20 is plenty of pressure. Don't go there ! Your mask will blow off your face in seconds and you will be wondering WTF just happened. Reset.. 20 minutes later... same deal.. you better have a REALLY REALLY good mask to deal with all of this .. a...

Re: Anyone carried out tests between Auto and fixed pressures?
... A lot of doctors and sleep staff I've spoken with over the years tend to think that Auto machines won't respond to apnoeas quickly enough, although do admit that it reduces the length of them and prefer to go with fixed pressure machines. I wondered whether there's any truth in that? ... Sure. ...

Re: What is an acceptable vibratory snore rate?
I'm a simple man and very much a noob at all of this so I'm just speaking from my experience. I find when my VS goes over 5 my sleep suffers. I switched to APAP and had to raise my lower pressure, even though my AHI were low, just to lower my VS because I was feeling the difference in the morning. ...
