Re: Lots more dreams now!
I used to have stressful, intensive dreams and woke up with fast heartbeats. Dreams are a lot more relax now. On treatment about 10 days.

Re: H5i temperature setup
I would said that the heating feature is almost useless with a SlimLine hose, it just a passive water preserver. Normally I don't really need the heat, I prefer room temperature air.

Problem with CPAP, switch back to APAP instead
Last night, I tried to use CPAP with a setting of 10 by following the clinical titration #, I set the EPR to 3. For about 20-30 minutes, I found breathing is laboring and uncomfortable. I have to switched back to APAP mode with a setting of 7-10, and EPR to 2. Breathing was much easier. The over nig...

Pressure Setting from Clinic Titration
I have my titration from a clinic few days ago. The clinician gave me higher pressure setting than the doctor’s previous description. For obvious reason, the clinic is using their remotely controlled CPAP machine and my hose and mask/nasal pillow. Because the air flow is not only determined by press...

Re: H5i temperature setup
In Canada we pay $1 - $1.50 for a 4L jug distilled water from Walmart or Shopper's Drugmart.

Re: H5i temperature setup
Does the H5i has build-in mechanism detect the level of humidity in the chamber? Or it just adjust the temperature according to the dial setting regardless of the other variables? The climate control hose seem to have the mechanism. Not sure if the SlimLine would help. I am using a central humidifie...

Re: H5i temperature setup
Thank Fiberfan .
When I set it to 2.5, the water level doesn't seem to change at all in the morning. Set to 3, gone down a little bit. It must have to do with the pressure setting and the humidify settings.
Good to know.

Re: H5i temperature setup
I am using the Slimline tube - not climate control.
Can I keep the temperature a little higher than the room temperature and stay that way during the night?

H5i temperature setup
I have been using the H5i for several days now. The water temperature always in room temperature. Do I have to set it up, so it will automatic warm up to certain temperature when I use the S9? By press the setup button 3 second?

Re: Is changing S8 Escape II Auto from CPAP to APAP bad?
As I learned, for a new user it would be good to able to set in a range of settings as in the APAP, and find out what pressure is ideal for your situation. I was subscribed to set at 8, since I am using APAP, I set it at 5 - 10. Throughout the night, the pressure vary from 6, 8, 9 etc.

Re: S9 - How to fix a corrupted S9 data card
Dave - I don't understand why this even matters?? If you put in a new card, the S9 formats it right? and you can use it - right? So what is the problem? I just don't understand. I believe that when you use a new card, you will not have the 'detail' data, because those data are only available on the...

Re: Is changing S8 Escape II Auto from CPAP to APAP bad?
I believe the S8 Escape II is a CPAP, not a APAP machine. With a APAP, you can go both way. Not with a CPAP. BTW, new comer here also

Interesting, I do suspected there is a timing issue. However, it is so odd, isn't it?
