Re: Resmed Not Allowed on cpapauction
Unfortunately alot un-informed users just take what the DME gives to them. That makes DME the 'customer' not the user. We certainly have a say what to take. I will not endorse their product online anymore. See no product list on my profile!

Depend on mask type, some people might find it useful. You may be able to make your own if you are creative.

Re: Resmed Not Allowed on cpapauction
I haven't purchase any ResMed product online, mainly because I am from Canada. Seeing what ResMed acting this way to controls/dictates its market share. Make me think twice about being their customer again.

You only need to worry about it only if you move to a location with very different altitude.

Hi John, it is off topic but what version of the software you are using? Some people might have problem with the software that come with the CD, so Kevin kind enough to post an older version (0.981?) on his website. However I have tried both the newer version (version 1 that come with the CD) and th...

I would definitely recommend an oximeter. At least it will easy your worry. I got one recently although my Sp02 is above 90, I still want to see how I am doing in deep sleep. Sleeping in a sleep lab is different from sleeping on your own bed. I purchased mine from : http://pulseoxstore.com. Kevin is...

Re: Why do some folks take to cpap so quickly and others do not?
I considered myself being lucky, before I got my machine, I found this forum. I kept reading and reading and read a lot successful stories and what problems some people are facing. I was prepared and ready to accept the challenge. I waited for several weeks for the new machine to come to the market....

Re: Will I ever get used to CPAP?!!
I think with the nasal pillow, it would be less complicate, as long as the nose fit, you are almost there. Don't have to concern about the facial features etc.
Of course, there could be issue with mouth breath. There are ways to deal with that don't we.
My 2¢.

Re: Will I ever get used to CPAP?!!
Less is more applied here to me. I am using the SwiftFX, it is so light and comfortable, after a little while I don't even notice it is on my face. Just like wearing my eye glasses. There was times when air-leakage troubles me a bit, but after some adjustment all went well. I am mainly a side-sleepe...

Re: battery back-up for S9
Thank you Chris for the information. Looks like this battery a bit too low in capacity for even a single night.KC5cychris wrote:This unit will operate the S9 ok, but a 20 amp battry may not last very long.
