Re: Filter change interval
Not to beat a dead horse, but is the AirSense filter washable? ResMed does not mention to wash the filter in its manual so I don’t know. I’m coming from a Resprionics machine, where it had a washable filter. Also, does anyone know if ResMed offers a second filter? Resprionics has a main filter and a...

Re: Oximeter datalogger
I am having a problem with high red blood cell count even though my cpap therapy is effectively treating my sleep apnea. (That is per my sleep doctor). My hematologist suggests I get a oximeter data logger. Does anyone know if I can rent a medical grade oximeter data logger? Sure, or you could just...

Re: Battery Advice
Using a computer UPS is the easiest solution for short term outages. Then if the power-out lasts longer you can always purchase a better solution in the morning. Unless the power-out event is the apocalypse. In that case you will be SOL. Several years ago I bought a marine battery for camping and wh...

Re: Water runs out
I found part of the problem. My room temperature was 66°. I hate sleeping in a warm room. My medical supplier told me to bump the room temp to 70°, which I did. Low and behold I have water in my tank in the morning. However, I can’t sleep in 70° so I compromised at 68° and still have water in the mo...

Re: Water runs out
Last night I had the humidifier set at 3 and it ran dry. Plus, I have a room humidifier set to 45.

Re: Water runs out
I followed my medical supply company’s recommendations to use the non-heated tube and put the machine humidifier into non-adaptive mode. I still wake up in the middle of the night with painfully dry nostrils, mouth, and throat. I am really beginning to hate my new Respironics Dreamstation. So much s...

Re: Water runs out
You Respironics users with the machine saying no leaks and SleepyHead saying there were large leaks... Your machine trumps SH. The problem is SleepyHead defaults to the red line for ResMed machines...and that's where that % of time over red line statistic comes from...not from your machine. ResMed ...

Same here. Do you leave your machine running, as I do, when you get up to pee in the night?dreamingofdreaming wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 3:11 pmI woke up this morning with no water left in the tank. DreamMapper says 0 large leaks, but SleepyHead says there were leaks.

Re: Water runs out
I did get SleepyHead to work. I had to insert/eject my SD card a few times until the Mac recognized it. Probably dust in the slot since I rarely use the SD Drive. Sleepy head stated that I head periods of significant mask leaks. Can those be when I got up to go pee and left the machine running? If y...

288B8CAE-506B-4C82-81E4-86DF906D409C.jpeg I read where Dreamstation does not store any data SleepyHead can use. Don't know where you read that but SleepyHead does work with the DreamStation models except ASV or the brick DSX200 CPAP that doesn't record any data to anything beyond hours of use. What...

Re: Water runs out
@Dog Slobber — it is on my nightstand, exactly where the old one was. Picture this: My bed and two nightstands fit perfectly between two windows. Below the windows are hvac registers in the floor. Therefore, I’d say the cpap machine is two feet off the floor and 3 feet horizontally from the vent. Is...
