Re: Last nights data; need help analyzing
The report looks pretty good. It seems to show you don't need much more than 10 cm. of pressure. How's the "leaking" thing going? Is your wife happier? Den Much happier, thanks. The leaks are good when I tape my mouth shut and use a nasal mask (as opposed to a pillow mask) with a pressure range of ...

Re: Last nights data; need help analyzing
Glad to hear that. I'd suggest using your prescribed pressure for a while to see what happens. Typically, the event numbers tend to come down. You may also need to select a different EPR setting........in case your apneas are occurring at the end of your exhale cycle and the beginning of your inhal...

Re: Last nights data; need help analyzing
Why switch to constant CPAP; why not let APAP try to fix those apneas with a higher pressure? Great question... I switched it back to an APAP a couple of nights ago. I've posted my stats for the last few nights below. You could also have trained to reduce mouth respiration to just when absolutely n...

Re: Last nights data; need help analyzing
WOW!!!! I taped my mouth shut last night (wife had all kinds of commentary with this) and it all but gave me a 'flat' leak line... YEE HAA! I'll get a chin strap (and probably a full face mask) as well. Below are my results from last night. My AHI went up a bit and I've got what I would think are qu...

Re: Last nights data; need help analyzing
I see a recipe (configuration) for disaster. Did they prescribe a fixed pressure for you in the titration portion of your sleep study? If so, I'd suggest setting your machine in CPAP mode at that pressure. If some of the leaks are coming from your mouth, tape your mouth shut or get a full face mask...

Re: Last nights data; need help analyzing
With those large spikes I suspect some mouth breathing issues as work. Chin strap, tape or full face mask should be considered if you suspect the open mouth being a large part of the leak line. Did you consider nasal pillow mask? Less surface area to mess with in regards to sealing. I believe you a...

Last nights data; need help analyzing
Greetings: Below are last nights results... good news/bad news... good news is it looks like my snoring is in good shape (not keeping my wife up); bad news is now all of the leaking is keeping her up. Some questions: -What do 'Median' and '95th percentile' mean with respect to Leaks? -Is an AHI of 1...

Re: Thoughts anyone??
Just thinking that minimum pressure of 4 makes it a long climb to a therapeutic pressure of 12. Between fixing any mouth leaks and raising your lower pressure, I'm thinking you'd see a big improvement in your data. I'm not an autopap guru though I did use one for at least a year, but if it were me ...

Re: Thoughts anyone??
I've been using the medium pillows...I tried the large ones a few nights ago...I'll try again tonight. Is it realistic to expect a 0 leak flatline all night?

Re: Thoughs anyone??
To post images, you will need to first upload them to an internet site. Some people like to use Photobucket. (http://www.photobucket.com) Then you can copy the code for the Image and post it. Best regards, Jersey Girl when you say copy the code, do you mean 'copy and paste' the link to the picture....
