Re: Encore Viewer 2.0 Software data date issue

Well - I just figure out that I was confused about the model Cpap I had - it's NOT the M Series but one that predates that one. I just looked at the provider manual and there doesn't appear to be anywhere to set the time. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Re: Encore Viewer 2.0 Software data date issue

Ken, the machines are set to Greenwich Mean Time and while the clock chips consistantly looses time I doubt that you could have lost much more than an hour. The "M" Series is not old enough for the battery to have died. They usually last 5+ years at least. The GMT from the machine is converted to y...

Encore Viewer 2.0 Software data date issue

I've just recently restarted using Encore Viewer (version 2) and it seems to work fine with one exception. The card that I put into my machine downloaded to the software from last night with the date November 10, 2010..... any ideas? I've done some searching but haven't found this issue. Thanks! Ken

Thanks for the quick reply. Since I posted that it occurs to me that I'd pay a bit more for a machine that has better reporting and software tools.

New CPAP time - what to buy?

I'm in the process of deciding what to buy for a new CPAP. Mine is from 2006 and has many thousands of hours on it and I'm thinking of "trading up". Of course, there are a myriad of new machines and technologies and I'll admit to being a bit overwhelmed. It seems that every machine gets 4-5 stars fr...

Swift FX Mask is terrific

I recently switched from the ComfortLite II mask to the Swift FX and have to say that I'm delighted with it. It's light - hardly even know I've got a mask on. I have no troubles with leaks - it's MUCH better than the ComfortLite. Occasionally when I scrunch my head around on the pillow I'll pull it ...

Re: Hybrid Mask - RANT

Try 3M blue painter's tape for "Delicate Surfaces." The two inch wide roll. If that doesn't hold (does for me) return it to swap for same brand, same color, same width "Multi-Surfaces." Thank Gerald for bringing the blue tape to the message board's attention. It's what I use now. I've tried one or ...

Hybrid Mask - RANT

Ok - for those of you who have decided to take a look at this post I have some warnings. 1. This is a RANT. It is not intended to provide information - only to make me feel better. 2. Any humor is a by product of frustration and is intended. 3. No attempt is made to be fair. That would take away too...

Re: Hybrid Mask on trial - leaks & side sleeping

where is it leaking? Sometimes along the side(s) of the mask and sometimes around the nasal pillows. I just was fiddling with it and applied liberal amounts of bag balm around the edges of everything and tightened up the straps to "HURRICANE". that seems to help but gosh that puts a ton of pressure...

Hybrid Mask on trial - leaks & side sleeping

Hey gang - I've got a Hybrid mask from cpap.com that I've paid the "return insurance fee" on and while I really like it in some ways I'm having some interesting issues. Getting this thing to seal and stay sealed is extremely elusive. I've finally gotten the nasal pillows aligned correctly (had to cu...

Hey folks - ease up a bit. This stuff is added to a vaporizer to help with croup. The mask is fine (using for many months). I'm in better shape because I'm sleeping wonderfully well. I put this stuff on with a q-tip (hard to get a lethal dose with a q-tip!) and the alcohol dries long before the mask...

I honestly don't remember where the idea for Benzoin came from. I think someone said something in passing and I just gave it a try and it works wonderfully - much much better than the marine glue or bag balm that I had tried otherwise. Someone else mentioned kicking it out of place with the pillow a...

Hi - I was the one that originally tried the glue - it doesn't work nearly as well as Tincture of Benzoin which I've been using faithfully for about 8 months. I apply the tincture to the bottom of my nostrils each evening, let it dry and the CFLite stays nicely in place the entire night as long as I...

Hi folks - I've been using the CL2 with nasal prongs for about 4 months now and just love it - here are my observations about the air problem. 1) Sometimes I try to get it too tight to my nostrils which actually pinches the cushions and restricts the air-flow. 2) several times after some thrashing t...

r u sure that it doesn't ask you if you want to erase it? - that's what my version does - also - you might check for preferences - my version doesn't seem to have any for that.
