Success
A few weeks ago I was struggling with therapy and never would have guessed that I am where I am today. I fall asleep in minutes, sleep through the night, can sleep on my side again (better for my apnea than being on my back and it is what I prefer) and am no longer tired. The difficulty of over-comi...

Breathing Through a Fog
All, In first week and adjusting to CPAP at 16. I originally tried the ramp and found I was waking and unable to tolerate pressure at 16. Last two nights I followed a suggestion and bypassed the ramp, Go, and $200 and went straight to 16. I was able to tolerate well for a couple of hours. However, i...

Taz, Thanks for the suggestion. I watched American Idol for the first time and did it with my mask on and the CPAP engaging at 16. I had tried the ramping and that was not working, so I used your (and RubyMom's) suggestion. I was much more comfortable with the mask after that time and will continue ...

Thoughts for a New User

CPAP set to ramp over 20 minutes from 6 to 16. First couple of nights led to 4 hours of sleep each. Last night was only one with ...

CPAP software compatible with Apple OS?
Does anyone know if CPAP software is compatible with Apple operating systems? Or are they PC only?

Howdy from a Tyro
To all those that offered their wisdom in this forum and beyond... thank you. Ten years ago, I underwent two sleep studies. I had some difficulty getting to sleep (no surprise) and when I did, the ENT doc stated that I had some apneas, but I did not fit the profile. Two weeks ago I finally followed ...
