Accurate Biomed Services has sold me the ResMed Escape S8 keypads for about $20 in the past. 1-800-376-5660 • 1-888-327-7483
They no longer sell the keypads--just talked with them.

Re: how to fix on/off button resmed s8 autoset spirit 11

Can someone who has done this fix confirm whether they have had to unscrew the shell of the machine first? I have tried to pry off the on/off switch cover and all I have succeeded in doing is tearing the rubber. It looks as though mine may have a rubber boot over the switch which may be part of a s...

Re: S8 APAP --how to set max pressure?

Even in the manual for this machine, the clinical menu only shows a Minimum Pressure menu item, no max pressure. Maybe if there is a provider version of the manual, it would explain how max pressure is managed. My guess at this point is, that you set only minimum pressure, and it automatically figur...

Re: S8 APAP --how to set max pressure?

I was in the clinical menu--I can access and set the minimum pressure to 8, but there is no max pressure on the menu. My CPAP pressure is supposed to be 10. I used the machine for the first time--much. much better than my ancient Remstar Plus 1.X machine. My daily AHI was 10.9 . Not sure if I need t...

Re: S8 APAP --how to set max pressure?

Anyone??
How do I set the max pressure on this machine?????
Just minimum pressure shows up on the menu. I can set that fine to 8.
I need to set max pressure to 12.
It is set to APAP, not CPAP.

Re: New user, saying hello...with some questions...

S8 Escape Auto II lets you see daily and average AHI in the LCD.
I assume it downloads at least that info to the data card for more than one day.
No idea if it downloads more detailed data than that or not.
Possibly later versions of this unit have more capabilities than earlier ones..

Re: S8 APAP --how to set max pressure?

The menu seems to show the ability to show more data than hours of use...avg and daily AHI.
And I plan to get the software to read the data from the card and analyse it.
No idea if the data is more detailed than what is offered on the LCD or not.

Re: S8 APAP --how to set max pressure?

It's an auto. And I don't see a max pressure menu item, just a minimum pressure. I see where you can set it as to CPAP or APAP, and it's set at APAP. I bought it at cpapauction, new with 4i humidifier. Even has tubing and card. Just ordered the card reader. I have a 10 year old Respironics cpap mach...

S8 APAP --how to set max pressure?

Menu has a minimum pressure setting, which I set to 8.
How do I set the max pressure to 12?
The max pressure setting must be called some other term, as I don't see anything obvious.
