Re: S9™ Series H5i™ Heated Humidifier... "noisy"
Tortisegirl..... interesting info. I swear my ResMed S8 Elite was quieter. I'll have to hook it back up and do a comparison, which really doesn't matter because I'm with the S9 for the long haul! lol Thanks!

Re: S9™ Series H5i™ Heated Humidifier... "noisy"
Thanks for the reply.... full of near full water seems to be a culprit in increased noise. Haven't overfilled yet but definitely notice the increased noise near or at the full mark.

Re: S9™ Series H5i™ Heated Humidifier... "noisy"
Either off or maybe 62. Currently 62, but have tried varying temperatures and that makes no difference in the noise level. Thought I'd check with users here rather than or before going to Apria for "help". If it's normal ok but if not, I will probably go out to Apria to see what the RT who gave me t...

S9™ Series H5i™ Heated Humidifier... "noisy"
I've been using the S9 autoset and H5i for a few weeks now and am wondering about the "noise" from the H5i. It sounds similar to water boiling and a fairly loud whooshing noise on inhalation and exhale. The noise is louder 2-3 feet away than that of my Swift LT nasal pillows. It at times is botherso...

Re: Modem on my S9 says no network.
I've been using my new S9 Autoset from Apria for 3 weeks now. Wireless module has always indicated "No Network" since the 1rst day. I removed the module, since the No Network messages were constantly over the data info. Have not received any calls from Apria either.

Re: Cpap when sick?
For me, using nasal pillows is often a plus and I would assume the same could be said for a nasal mask. When having nasal congestion I can usually clear my nasal passages by putting on my mask, turning on my machine and opening my mouth, letting the air flow through my nose and out my mouth, until c...

Autoset vs CPAP
I'm within 2 weeks new, having a ResMed S9 Autoset. For the previous 5 years, I had a ResMed S8 Elite. I'm noticing that when using the S9 in Autoset, it indicates that my AHI is hovering around 7-8s, with the average pressure being in the low 15s, using the pressure range of 12-18. Tonight, I used ...

Re: ResMed S9 Wireless Module
[quote="chunkyfrog"]Check with your insurance if they even need "compliance", since this is a replacement. Repeat purchases usually follow years of compliance. Never once in the past 5 years has anyone asked me about compliance or any other data, so I'd guess that will still hold true. Whenever I ha...

Re: ResMed S9 Wireless Module
Just watch your billing...Apria has a habit of billing your credit card for items the insurance company is paying for. There has been several examples of this. That's why we advise that you do not give Apria access to your credit card.....especially when you know that your purchase is covered by in...
