Aeiomed Everest 2 vs PB 420g
I posted earlier about my search for the best travel CPAP for me. Let me ask more plainly, regarding the Everest 2 vs the PB 420g: Which one is quieter or has a more pleasing sound? Which one is easiest to pack? Does either machine have an overly-large power supply? (For comparison, I think my M-ser...

Best travel machine? Everest 2?
Hi, I'm looking for a great travel CPAP. My regular machine is an M-Series Auto with AFLEX. I recently switched from a REMStar Auto that started whining and wheezing loudly after traveling with it on a short overnight business trip (it had traveled with me previously). I don't know if it got banged ...

I'm not sure if you'll find a quieter CPAP machine; it's my understanding that Respironics Remstar machines are all generally reputed to be among the quietest options. I'm guessing that most of your exhalation noise is coming from the Swift. I tried one during my titration study and I found it to be...

Dale, I use a Comforlite 2 with the nasal pillows and until I received my Aussie hose I experienced the exact same rainout symptoms you described. Like you, I was waking up nearly every night from water droplets running into my nose. And, I also wondered how the heated hose could help since my hose ...

Hi bluedesh, I had a similar feeling when I first started with cpap just over a month ago, but it went away pretty quickly for me. You can adjust the cflex exhalation relief "amount" on your Remstar. A setting of 1 gives the least relief effect, while 3 gives the most. I suggest you see what setting...

If your health insurance will cover your cpap, cpap.com's "Bill My Insurance" is reputed to be a terrific option. See http://www.billmyinsurance.com/.

As oldgearhead mentioned, you can buy the full therapy setup manual on ebay; the emailed pdf file price is about $6.00. Also, you can download the document at the following link and get the setup steps: http://manuals.dev.respironics.com/service%20manuals/Remstar%20Auto%20Cflex%20Remstar%20Pro%202/R...

Yes, my wife is wonderful and she already went ahead and made a cover for the connector hose. I think I'll still get the Aussie hose once I make sure I can tolerate all of this. Last night and during a nap today I had numerous episodes of air leaking out between my lips and waking me. I've been very...

Thanks, RG. I was thinking that the Aussie hose wouldn't help me much since all of the moisture is showing up down in the mask (with my wife's fleece cover, I'm not getting any visible condensation in my current hose), but I should probably give the Aussie a try anyway. Regarding your CL2, do you al...

Newbie and CL2 - observations & questions
Hi all, I've been lurking in this forum since being diagnosed with severe OSA about a month ago and have greatly appreciated the wealth of information here and the friendly attitudes of you all. I've been on my CPAP for three nights now, two of those using the ComfortLite 2 interface. I thought I'd ...
