Re: 11 years later, new machine, High AHI!!!
Thank you so much for the advice. Also happened to get ahold of an old friend who was a PSGT for years. He also recommended turning down the pressure. I am now running 10-14. Sleeping comfortably, and my AHI numbers are 6-7 per myAir app. He believes that I develop a slow airleak from my mouth when ...

11 years later, new machine, High AHI!!!
My story, briefly: I have been a CPAP user for 11 years now. (First post on here was 02/2010, posting my CPAP start story). Diagnosed in 2010, prescribed CPAP pressure of 10 cm H20. Multiple mask changes, ended up with nasal pillows. With nasal pillows, I felt as though I did not get enough flow, so...

Swift Fx side profile?
For all users of swift FX. I tried the swift LT, and loved the pillows, but did not like how the base of the pillows always seemed to rest on my upper lip. I repositioned it, and had a lot more difficulty with leaks. So I switched to the 360. The extended necks on the nasal pillows keeps the mask of...

Re: POLL: Are you a lurker? If so that's fine. But why not post?
It would be a shame if anyone who wanted to post was afraid to do so. I have written a few posts, some of them very long winded and with some awkward humor. There are so many people on this site, who understand a serious post, and will respond in kind even if your post is slightly "inappropriate" or...

An aromatherapy idea???
I just received the pur-sleep aromatherapy sample pack. I was skeptical that there would be any effect, and after smelling the oils, I figured it would be a hinderence to sleep. I was wrong. One drop as directed on a pad, placed near the intake filter provided a very subtle and relaxing sent through...

Re: My start on CPAP.
Update... Picked up the Swift LT today. Looks like the activa mask was too large for me, and they do not have smaller sizes than standard. So, I tried two other nasal masks, then ended up trying the swift LT pillows. The other masks (Comfort gel, and Zest) fit much better than the activa, and had le...

My start on CPAP.
New to CPAP, started on the 3rd. Adjustment is an adventure for sure. Picked up the machine from the DME, decided to try the activa nasal mask that was provided during my titration study (They gave me two, would save some money if it works). I slept well during the titration study, so I was ready fo...
