Re: Online Medicare DME
I first tried our sponsor, CPAP.com but found out they do not take Medicare. Thanks to the person who PMed me, I contacted Verus earlier today--before reading all the posts here. Now I can add my voice to all the positive recommendations. I was truly impressed with their sense of caring and helpfulne...

Online Medicare DME
Does anyone know of a good online Medicare (with Blue Shield supplemental) approved DME? Or a good DME in Los Angles area? I have recently been approved for a new Aissense 10 Autoset for Her (even though I'm a Him). Alas I am in a dispute with my DME & want to dump them--surprise, surprise. I need s...

Los Angeles Sleep Doc/Lab Who Takes Medicare
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good sleep doctor with associated sleep lab in Los Angeles (prefer central LA to the Westside) who takes Medicare? I need to be evaluated for an ASV device for treatment of CSA/Complex Apnea with Cheynes-Stokes Respiration. I also need someone who is able to c...

Re: rescan 3.13 tweak for respiatory rate and tidal
I happened upon this thread because I am looking for ways to unlock Respiratory Rate and Tidal volume for ResScan 4.1. Has anyone been able to do this or know of any specific instructions for doing this in 4.1?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: rescan 3.13 tweak for respiatory rate and tidal
IMO, respiratory and tidal volume data like most of the other data in CPAPs like S9, is not important even to sleep doctors. May by to pulmonologists and students in medical schools. Where are rested-gal and a- mile- hi- gal to verify it? I know this is an old post but I just came across it. IMO th...

Re: DeltaDave: Are 3% desaturations harmful even if above 90%?
This pertains to the post of greatunclebill. I don't want to go into detail as I don't want to side-track this thread, but unless you've had an ECG recently you might want to get one. The CMS devices are good value devices for the average person, but can show significant errors in the presence of he...

Re: SPO7500 Vitabase/Vitasocre Software Manual
Thanks for the responses. I have all the documentation on the install CD and F1. For those who don't have the software the "manuals" consist of 2 screenshots that have been annotated--calling it very poor documentation is to be kind. I was hoping that someone would have a true manual which would giv...

SPO7500 Vitabase/Vitasocre Software Manual
I recently ordered an SPO7500 pulse oximeter which uses Vitabase/Vitascore software. Unfortunately the monitor does not have a software manual, only a couple screenshots of information screens. Does anyone have a manual for Vitabase/Vitascore? It is elegant looking but pretty useless software withou...

Re: What is the T-Shirt comments about? Do not understand!!
I keep reading posts that have the comment of "we have the t-shirt" what in the heck does that mean?? I am lost..lol I'm going to guess that you are not from America. In America, a lot of times when people go somewhere they buy a T-shirt as a souvenir. The T-shirt usually has some print on it, ofte...

Re: Do any sleep MD's say that eating meal before bed...(DSPS)
To the OP, the way you are eating will almost guarantee blood sugar problems (often alternating between high and low) probably no matter what blood tests show. Low blood sugar states, which you most likely go into unless you are in your early 20s or below can lead to sleep onset insomnia or waking a...

Re: Off topic question about "immediate memory problems"
How is your apnea therapy going? I find that my short term memory (which is what you are describing) varies often correlating fairly closely with my AHI. The brain needs a lot of oxygen to function properly.

Re: ASV Titration Help Request
-SWS, Are these graphs from the Adapt SV Original (the one I have) or the Adapt SV Enhanced? I had a problem with getting my computer to recognize to the Adapt SV via cable download. I was under the impression that the Adapt data had minimal usefulness so I didn't pursue getting the data to download...

Re: ASV Titration Help Request
What are the ASV charts? The same kind of graphs that you have posted for the S9. Here's a 2006 example from another Adapt SV user that Muffy posted a while back: http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x256/sleepydave/adaptsvchristineah3.jpg In this excerpt. I am assuming that the selections marked "Go...
