Re: How old were you when
I was 24 when first started using CPAP. My Dr. thinks could have done with it a lot earlier as believe it is a side effect from Childhood asthma and with having a shorter lower jaw. Have to admit may be a lifer for CPAP but could not do without it now! Even a single night without it is horrific!

Re: Bed situation: Older married couples only
Hi Slinky,
I do not know why it has come up with software as had not listed any because here in the UK we do not need any software at home because all the reports are printed out when we visit our sleep lab.
I have also changed to text for my equipment which I was sure was set.

Re: Where A CPAP Newbie Should Start
Jules what a great post!
I must admit wish when I was starting out had links and resources like this! I know this is more American based but still very helpful to a UK based CPAP user like myself!
Good to know there are these sorts of resources around even to a long termer like me

Re: Bed situation: Older married couples only
Ok I am not classed in the older married couples!! However do feel this a valid post. When I first started my CPAP me and my partner had a twin bed and it was a nightmare as my partner would complain about the air blowing out the mask or if I moved and the mask loosen then would get a full wack of a...

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.
I have to admit it took a few years before it was recognised and found out that I suffered from OSA (obstructive sleep apnea). At first the Drs. I went too put it down to stress and working too hard. However, a few years later I had moved in with my partner and changed Drs. Both my partner and mysel...
