Re: Report on CMS50E Pulse Oximeter-%Artifact
First, I would like to thank all of you who participate in this forum -- I have learned more from you than I have from all the doctors and DME/sleep lab techs I've dealt with over the past six months. Thank you *very* much! After being diagnosed with severe sleep apnea (AHI=62) and Periodic Limb Mov...

Understanding and Interpreting SpO2 Oximetry Reports
Has anyone found an information source that can help me better understand and interpret those incredible Oximetry Reports produced by SpO2 Review? Though I have figured out what most of the "Event Data" column items mean, I have no idea if my numbers are good, bad or somewhere in between. Some basic...

CMS-50E Pulse Oximeter: Wireless Feature Problem
The CMS-50E wireless feature doesn't work with the SpO2 Review (Version 1.0) program. It works fine with the SpO2 monitor program.

Can't Seem to Get My Hypopnea Index Down

Thanks in large part to this forum, I've made a lot of progress -- my AHI readings are now in the 11-13 range. After a few weeks on Mirapex (.5mg), my PLMD may be getting bette...

Re: Can't Find a Mask That Doesn't Leak
Thank you all *very* much for taking the time to help me out with this new CPAP thing.
I've learned more from your comments/suggestions/other links in a few hours than I've learned from all the "professionals" I've met since the day I was diagnosed!

Can't Find a Mask That Doesn't Leak
I am 66 years old and, after a sleep test on October 24, 2009, was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea (AHI=58!). IMHO, my first titration trial was a total failure -- as a result, my previous sleep doc prescribed the ResMed S8 Autoset II. He also prescribed a ResMed Mirage Quattro FFM. I used this se...
