Re: Let's go "Inside the Numbers..." for a Good Nights Sleep

Welcome to you! And may I say, and this isn't an insult, but you sound exactly like an engineer! I am friendly with several of them! I am planning an appointment with my new Pulmonlogist to have him go over my original sleep studies with me, as well as the Oximetry (sp?) test he personally had done ...

Re: How NOT to wash SleepWeaver Advance Cpap Mask

You're welcome. And that's the problem, they don't say a word about not using baby shampoo. My Therapist had never mentioned to me before and the very first mask I had lasted a lot longer and I had been using unscented, non-medicated, hand soap. Seems they would have put this on the box but I'm tell...

Re: My first night with Sleepweaver Advance

Hello, I think the mask is fantastic! I mean, if it will work without blowing air directly into my eyes within the next two weeks. The air blowing actually bothered me a great deal because my nose would get cold, but I've finally gotten used to it. Most of you have numbers you measure that mean noth...

How NOT to wash SleepWeaver Advance Cpap Mask

Hello all, I always manage to post in bold and I often lose my message. I hope this will work. After over three years of struggling, I finally found the best mask for me was the newer version of the SleepWeaver Advance CPAP mask. I have a small face, claustrophobia and all the indications that makes...

Re: SleepWeaver is my new mask.

I don't know what I do but I just lost a complete post! I need to post earlier in the day I guess.

Well, now you know I'm using the SleepWeaver as my new mask and it's been better than the Easy Life but it has a long way to go!

Maybe more later! Where do the posts go on me???

Re: 1 month and really struggling...............

Hello, I can't tell you how much I can relate to your story. Are you claustrophobic? It sounds as if you are. I haven't read the article referenced above so that may address all the subjects I will, but your post could have been from me three years ago when I was diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apn...

Re: How did you know something was wrong?

I couldn't stay awake to watch my favorite shows at night. I had a terrible time getting up in the morning - would sleep until 11AM and even longer, if I could. I never felt refreshed from my night sleep. I started taking naps, something I've never done in my life. Then I started to forget things -...

Re: My Nose Itches

So does mine but not as much, any more. I don't use the humidifier at all, not even in the winter, and that seemed to take care of the problem.

It's annoying, isn't it?

Hope you find some relief!

My setting is too low

I've had Obstructive Sleep Apnea since January of 2010. In May, I thought that the symptoms were returning and made an appointment with my Pulmonologist. Unfortunately, I thouoght a new mask cured the symptoms so I cancelled the appointment. I had to make another one and the doctor, being human, is ...

Re: The insomnia monster raises its head again and again ....

I must admit that I didn't thoroughly read all the previous posts, although I read yours and I feel for you. I have no sage advice; my migraines pretty much stopped when menopause started, but as for Insomnia, I could write a book. I've suffered from it my entire life. One of the good things about t...
