Hi all, can you tell me how effective this has been for you? I have been considering this for a while. Is it worth my while to order the sample pack (29.00 dollars) for my first purchase?

Re: Septoplasty Tomorrow 3/4/10
Well I am home and the discomfort is not too bad. I am having trouble with some nauseum. And I think I am having some excess drainage. I the the nauseum is from the drainage going to my stomach. Any ideas for that I would appreciate.
Over all I don't feel too bad.

Re: Septoplasty & Turbinate surgery recovery
Uncle Bob you have been very helpful, but I have a couple of more questions.
How long did you have your cpap machine before you had your surgery and did you struggle to keep your mask on all night?
and
Are you having an easier time now, since your passage way has been straightened and cleared?

Re: Septoplasty & Turbinate surgery recovery
So on my first night i slept over 4 hours with my Quatrro on, I slept elevated by a stack on pillows even though my nose was not bleeding much. I really enjoyed the warm air (humidifier set to 4 & repti cable for heat) and i think that helped so much comfort wise. Here you state that you use your Q...

Re: Need some advice
Benedryl has no effect on me. So I don't take it. I have had so many sinus and allergy problems, I guess I have rendered it useless. I guess I will get the Melatonin 1 mag and try 1 tonight, if that doesn't work 2 tomorrow and so on. I did not take any sleep aid last night and I ended up not sleepin...

Re: Need some advice
dryness is common from mouth breathing with a nose only mask, do you have this type of mask? if not you need to increase your humidifier I have my humidifier set at 2. Any higher than that I wake up with a horrible sinus headache located at my forehead . That was my trial and error and learned that...

Need some advice
I have had my cpap machine for over a month. I fell like I have won some and lost some. I am back to sleeping about 2 1/2 to 3 hours at a time. So I wake up between 2 and 4 times a night. 1. I use a mouthwash for dry mouth 2. I use a nasal rinse to clear my sinuses 3. I started using Badger Sleep Ba...

Re: Incredibly Dry Mouth....what to do?
What has helped me out tremendously with my dry mouth issue, was to by a mouth wash for dry mouth. There are several different brands, like Oasis made by Sensedyn and Biotene. They really work. As a mouth breather myself, my worst case was I woke up and the inside of my cheeks were pasted to my teet...

Re: having troube with tickling in the back of the throat
First, I say ditto to what's already been said. Also, for the 1st few minutes after I mask up, I know there will be sinus drainage and coughing so I plan on dealing with that. If I had dozed off then woke up with a coughing fit, that would distress me too. I did that A LOT before cpap and realized ...

Re: Sinus Congestion and Deviated Septum
I got my results back today and found out I was diagnosed as severe. My shortest time of not breathing was 26 seconds and the longest was 69 seconds, with 91 occurrences per hour. He strongly suggested that I get the surgery because I am mostly blocked and partially blocked on the left side. I have ...

Re: Sinus Congestion and Deviated Septum
Thanks Falcon1, To heed your advise, I guess surgery is inevitable for my deviated septum. I have read about the surgery and it sounds that it is not has bad as sinus surgery. As far as the Benadryl, I have been on an antibiotic and before that my ENT perscribed XYZAL for my congestion. I do not wan...
